Two ways of close the divide

Perhaps the simplest way to close the divide is increasing the need for the internet at

schools. Nowadays, the majority of schools provide free internet for students to use, and it can be

available up to 24 hours. There are many videos, articles, and apps can sometimes be

downloaded and accessed for free. Therefore, more and more students can use the internet even

if they have low financial income.

Another way to close the divide is by working with the community. Students and their

families may not be aware that many community organizations offer free Internet access. For

example, public libraries, businesses like coffee shops often provide customers access to their

wireless networks for free. Work to inform students and families about these resources can

reduce the gap between the use of the internet and those who do not.
