ANALYSIS

The objective of this laboratory experiment is to assess the unknown metal sample's
special thermal capacity and to determine the latent fusion heat of water. We will also
study the efficacy of various types of calorimeter. Average measurements which could
lead to better outcomes and precise values, would assist to decrease random errors
affecting the actual result of our experiment, and this could have been avoided if we had
conducted more than once.

CONCLUSION
As we have performed during the experiment, there were things we found out along the
way, taking for a fact that the more thermal energy the object has, the more its
temperature will rise. The use of electrical equilibrium to measure the masses of the
substances used in the experiment contributed to the avoidance of mass values
uncertainties and mistakes. Also change in state doesn’t mean change in temperature,
a change in temperature means a change in thermal energy, and under our
observation, we can therefore say that the energy is not lost, it is conserved.
