One day at the hospital, there was a patient undergoing hospitalization in the rose room because of

typhoid pain. He has been treated for a week.

P : it's been a week, I haven't healed. (sad)

Then the nurses come and bring the equipment to check the patient's vital signs.

(N2 bring and preparing the equipment)

N1 : good morning

P : good morning, nurse

N1 : how do you feel now?

P : Not too bad nurse

N1 : Ehm, okay. I'm ... and ... ,are your nurse at the moment

P : nice to meet you nurse

N1 : nice to meet you too. Allright would you tell me your name and age?

P : my name is ... , i'm ... years old

N2 : okay mr/mrs, now we want to take your vital signs

P : sure, go ahead nurse

N2 : first i'll take your blood pressure, relax mr/mrs

P : sure

Then the nurse measures the patient's blood pressure

N2 : it's 120/80 mmHg, it's normal.

N1 : (record the result)

N2 : Then i'll take your temperature mr/mrs

P : right nurse

N2 : okay mr/mrs, hold it for 5 minutes


Then the nurse measure the patient's temperature

N2 : okey, let me see it. It's good, 36,5°C

N1 : (record the result)

P : thanks nurse

N2 : after that, i'm going to measure your pulse rate and respiration rate mr/mrs

P : sure

Then the nurse measure the patient's pulse rate and respiration rate

P : how is my pulse rate?

N2 : it's normal, 70/minute

N1 : (record the result)

P : what about my respiration rate nurse?

N2 : it's looks good, 17/minute

N1 : (record the result)

P : okay

N1 : Terrific, well done, here your vital signs, your blood pressure is 120/80 mmHg, temperature is
36,5°C, pulse rate is 70/minte and respiration rate is 17/minute. All look done.

N2 : (tidy up the equipment)

P : thank you nurse

N1 : you're welcome,i'm leaving now. if you need any help just press the button, okay?

P : all right

N1 : have a good rest, get well soon mr/mrs

Then the nurses leave the room.
