CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY
1.1 Background
Ulcer disease is a disease that is very familiar in our daily lives. This disease is often
characterized by pain in the pit of the stomach, nausea, vomiting, satiety, abdominal pain
and others. Heartburn often recurs due to incomplete treatment. Actually the key to
treating ulcer disease is to know and eliminate the cause, eliminate stress, regulate the diet
properly and stay away from foods that are abstinence. Unfortunately, most ulcer sufferers
prefer to consume ulcer drugs which are sold freely, whereas in general these drugs only
reduce stomach acid production. As a result, a number of stomach ulcers caused by bacteria
can not be cured, that's why the disease will repeatedly recur. Inappropriate treatment of
heartburn is often heard every day because generally people do not understand the ulcer
disorders and do not want to ask doctors who treat it, even as has been stated above most
people with heartburn prefer to treat themselves by taking over-the-counter medicines so it
is not surprising that heartburn that does not go away. This small script will provide
knowledge for you to find out more about heartburn as well as provide guidance for you to
be able to act appropriately for heartburn that you suffer so that healing from this disease is
no longer a dream.

CHAPTER II
DISCUSSION
Heartburn is basically divided into two categories. Acute ulcer disease and chronic ulcer
disease. Ulcer disease itself, in fact is not a single disease. Ulcer disease arises as a result of
several poor health conditions. What often happens and is often found is that inflammation
in the stomach arises from a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori. Bacteria are also known
as bacteria that can cause ulcers (ulcers) in the stomach. Stomach ulcers caused by bacteria
are categorized as chronic heartburn. It is necessary for the general public to know,
infections caused by the bacterium Helicobacter pylori can be very dangerous. Treatment of
chronic heartburn can not be taken lightly at all because it can increase the risk of stomach
cancer.
In addition to chronic heartburn, the most common heartburn found in the community is
acute heartburn. The cause of acute heartburn is mostly caused by stress, the use of certain
chemicals, consumption of alcohol, and the habit of eating foods that are too spicy or too
acidic. When a person experiences stress, sympathetic nerve stimulation arises NV or
Nervus vagus, which will immediately increase the production of hydrochloric acid (HCl) in
the stomach. The high production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach will cause nausea,
vomiting and also anorexia. However, the good news, acute heartburn can be treated easily
as long as it is truly willing to change your lifestyle for the better and healthier.
Below I will make a summary of the text above. You can find out and learn any
symptoms, causes and easy ways to live healthier and free from ulcer disease.
