HIP HOP TO THE PARK

The 23rd edition of the Hip Hop Festival at the Park 2019 will be held on
October 5 and 6 at the Simón Bolívar Park in Bogotá. Hip Hop at the
Park arrives with big names and many surprises and news for its loyal
audience. S.A Roc, the voice of feminine power, arrives from Atlanta to
fill the stage of vindictive force backed by high-level rhymes, structures
and beats; Vicelow, Sir Samuel, Specta & dj Nelson - Saian Supa Crew
will bring us back to the French Rap; Smif N Wessun combine the
hardcore essence of New York rap with an impressive staging
accompanied by Champion Sound Band and to close is the great DJ
Maseo of the emblematic group De La Soul.

In its almost two decades it has established itself as one of the most
important free events of the capitals and has proved to be a space of
integration, which, from music, carries a message of peace, coexistence
and tolerance. In recent years, it has consolidated alliances with other
festivals, which have strengthened the genre and has allowed the
exchange of artists, for example, with Speaker, held in Medellín. In this
way, the industry around Rock and Hip Hop is strengthened.

In its 23rd edition, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá celebrates the power of
hip hop, as a tribute to the contributions it has made in the field of arts,
knowledge and the social, of a cultural movement that has been
expanding for more than four decades the world, because Bogotá is hip
hop capital. But to enjoy the Festival it is important to take into account
some recommendations.
The opening of doors both days will be from 11:00 a.m. and the festival
will start at 12:00 m. Ending at 9:00 p.m. The entrance will be made
through 63rd Street where 21 filters will be available on the east side.
The artists, allies and the press will enter Avenida Carrera 60 in the
north-south direction in front of the Virgilio Barco library, this same
income will be used for people with disabilities.
