A Fruitful Exploration

“Preparation is the key to success” as Alexander Graham Bell says it, you can
achieve great things if you are prepared and in condition. Just like this scenario, imagine
having a test on the horizon, it’s BIG one. You don’t want to walk in there unprepared for
what you’re about to face. But then, you’re not sure where or how to begin. NOT A
PROBLEM, cause we might solve your problems on how to study effectively for an
examination!
Now, let’s start with the things that you should do to study effectively. An important
step to this is having time management, this is so that you can accomplish more in such
short time, which leads you to more free time, an advantage for you to do other things
like finish your homeworks or activities or just relaxing yourself. Finding a quit place to
study, this is for your brain to focus on what you are doing, and away from distractions
that may divert your attention to it rather than studying. Summarize your notes, this is a
smart way to review for your exam instead of memorizing everything, because there’s a
tendency that you will just forget everything that you reviewed. Lastly, and might be the
key to successfully pass the test is having enough sleep before the examination so that
you’ll be fresh and ready to take the test.
And now, we’re going to talk about the things that you shouldn’t do while studying.
The thing that you should never ever do is PROCRASTINATE, the main reason why
students can’t do any work done is procrastinating, this is because they tend to delay their
study time thus failing the exam. Memorizing, our teacher once told us “don’t memorize,
remember.” Which is actually true because you can really forget what you memorize than
the things that you actually understand, so I suggest that you should understand what
your notes are rather than memorizing them. Lastly letting your phone distracts you,
no! No! No! I know it’s hard to get your phone out but never ever let your phone distract
you or else you make 0 progress.
Coming from a student who has done everything they should not have being
doing from the list above, I can guarantee that following these rules will bring great
success... and those little breaks? TOTALLY WORTH IT.
