Choice of Divisional Office for appointment: ‘The candidates will be competing with those candidates who have applied for empanelment for appointment in the Division chosen. No candidate will be considered for the post in the Division other than the one chosen by himiher for appointment Hence, candidates shouid carefully select the Divisional office for application. No change in the Divisional Office will be permissible at a later date, Candidates should submit the ‘application only for ONE division. Candidates should choose a place specified for his Division as examination centre, Examination centre other than places specified for that Division shall not be allowed. However, Corporation has the right to allot any examination centre to a candidate. Service Conditions: ‘The service conditions wil be appicable as per the prevalent rules of the LIC from time to time. The selected candidates, on appointment, ae liable to be posted or subsequently transferred to any office of the Corporation. tay be noted that the vacancies are in places as per Annexure | ofthis advertisement. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for main examination, % marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. If a question Is let biank, Le. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that ‘question, The matke obtained by the candidate in each section and in the aggregate shall be arrived at ‘after deduction of marks for wrong answers. (il) The score 60 obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor diference in dficuty level, if any, in each of the objective tests held in diferent sessions to arive at the Equated Scores” * Scores obtained by candidates in any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of al the forms. (ii) Test wise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal point up to two dlgits. Guidelines for ontine examination (Preliminary and Main examination Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear forthe online examination without the folowing documents: 1) Valid Cal ietier for the respective date and session of Examination, 2), Photo Identity proot (as spectied in Point 14 in original bearing the same name as lt appears on the call letter application form, and, 3) Photo copy of photo identity proof (as mentioned in (2) above) Candidates reporting late Le. after the reporting time specified on the call letter for examination vail not be permitted to take the examination The reporting time mentioned on the call letter is prior to the start of the examination. Though the duration of preliminary examination is one hour, candidates may be required to be at the venue for about two hours of ‘more including the time required for comploting various formalties such as verification and cotection of various requisite documents, logging in, giving instructions et. For Main examination, the duration of examination is two hours and thity minutes but the candidates may be required to be at the venue for about four hours or more including the time required for completing various formaities such as verification and collection of various requisite documents, Biometric data capture, Jogging in, giving instructions et. ‘Guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disat 38 using a scribe: () The visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected emanenty for any reason can use thelr own scribe at their cost duting the online examinaton (Preliminary and Main). In al such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules wil aoply. ‘+The candidate will have to arrange hisMer own scribe at hisher own cost +The sctibe arranged by the candidate should not be @ candidate for the same examination If Violation of the above is detected at any stage of the process, candidature of both the candidate and the ectve will be cancelled. Candidates eligible for and who wish to use the services of a scribe in the examination should invariably caretully indicate the same in the online application form. Any subsequent request may not be favourably entertained, ‘= Aperson acting as a scribe for one candidate cannot be a scibe for another candidate, ‘+The sorte should not be a currentex-employee of LIC of India ‘+The scribe may be from any stream. ‘+ Both the candidate as well as scribe will have to give @ suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfils al the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned above. Further In case itis later transpires that heishe did not futll any iid down etgibllty erteria or suppressed material facts, the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the recult of the online examination, + Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory tine of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination or ae otherwise advised. ‘+ Only candidates registered for compeneatory time will be alowed such concossions since compensatory time given to candidates shall be system based, it shall not be possible for the test ‘conducting agency to allow such time if he / she is not registered for the same, Candidates not registered for compensatory time shall not be allowed such concessions, (i) Guidelines for Candidates with locomotor cisabilty and cerebral palsy A compensatory time of hwenty minutes per hour or oterwiso advised shall be permitted for the candidates with locomotor disability and cerebral palsy where dominant (witing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of function (minimum of 40% impairment). (Guidelines for Visually impaired candidates: + Visually Impaired candidates (who suffer from not less than 40% of disability) may opt to view the Contents of the test in magnified font and all such candidates wil be ellgble for compensatory time (of 20 minutes for every hour or otnerwise advised of examination. ‘+ The facilty of viewing the contents of the test in magnifying font wil not be available to Visually Impaired candidates who use the services of a Scrie for the examination. (Wd) Guidelines for candidates with intellectual Disabil ‘A Compensatory time of twenty minutes per hour of examination, either availing the services of a ‘senbe or not, shall be permitted to the candidates with more than 40% intellectual Disablity and Mutiple disabiity ‘These guidelines are subject to change in terms of GOI guidelines! ciafications, if any, from time to time. Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates in final met lst wil have to undergo Pre-Recrutment Medical Examination and if found ‘medically fit wil be offered appointment. ‘Empanlement: Recruitment shat be only againet te sanctioned vacancies. For this purpose, a ranking lst of candidates for appointment shat be prepared. In otder to prepare such ranking list the numberof persons to be empaneled shall be 20% above notfied vacancies. The vaity period of the ranking ist shall be maximum of two year from the date of publication or til next recruitment notification, whichever is earlier. Only ate ling up the notified vacancies, the pereons who are remaining in the ranking list shall be considered for appointment against permanent vacancies as and when the need arses, within the validity period mentioned above. Pre-exam training for OBC/SC/ST/PWBD candidates: ‘SCISTIOBC/PWAD candidates who wish to avall the benefit of pre examination training may register theic name and other details with the P&iR Department of Divisional Office after submission of online application. The names may be registered til three days afer the last date of submitting the application. The Divisional Office wil inform the registered candidates, the date and venue of the training. Such candidates would have to attend the training at their own cost on the appointed dates and at the venue advised to them. 410. Action against misconduct: I Candidates are advised in their own interest that they should not fumish any particulars that are false, tampered, fabricated or should not auporese any material information I. UserPossession of Mobile phone, pager, calculators or any electronic device are not allowed inside the premises where examination is being conducted. Candidates are advised not to bring any of the prohibited items including mobile phones etc to the venue of examination as arrangement for ‘safekeeping cannot be assured. WL. How to apply: 1. Biometric Data ~ Cay ification | iil) If such instances go undetected during the current selection process but are detected subsequenty, such disqualification will tke place with retrospective effect. The biometric data (right thumb impression or otherwise) and photograph of the candidates will be captured and verified during the process of recruitment on the following stages: (i) Atthe time of entry and ext during Main examination. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted. {ii)The left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not smudged. (if a candidate is not having left thumb, he/she may use his! her right thumb for applying.) To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration” and enter Namo, Contact details and Emaitid. A Provsional Registration Number and Password wil be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number end Password, An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration umber and Passivord will also be sent 3.
