Dream A little

Kelly Wilson

She watched with wonder but kept to herself.

Afraid to interrupt she fixed her veil.

Always quiet left her thoughts on a shelf.

Wanted no one to know she was frail.

She kept dreaming of things beyond this world

Always wishing for things she couldn't hold.

Her thoughts, so crazy they kept her hair curled.

However she fostered a heart of gold.

She spoke about things we couldn't describe

They laughed in her face, which caused her to hide.

Her “friends” being mean started to prescribe

Didn't take their advice, she figured they lied.

Didn't care what it was, she loved with passion.

Didn't care what they said, she’s quite old-fashion.
