My version of the Hank Williams classic "Honky Tonk Blues" - "I went to a dance and wore out my

shoes!". This is a single release from the new album to be released early next year, featuring 13 tracks -
new compositions plus a few covers.

Honky Tonk Blues (single) Release date: 1 November 2018 (You can buy now on Bandcamp!)
Album Release date: 1 January 2019

I've always been a huge fan of Hank Williams - I recorded his "Honky Tonkin'" on my very first solo
album back in 1983. I've always thought of him as a great white bluesman as well as the king of country.
This track went down fast - Fender Strat on the rhythm and an Epiphone Les Paul Junior (one P90
pickup) playing the lead. The vocals went on the day after a gig - my croaky voice eased with sips of
whisky. I love this track and I hope you enjoy it too.
