Evidence: My view on Colombia

One of the main reasons why travelling is an unparalleled experience is the

possibility of knowing and live the different customs that every destination
has, and in a country as diverse as Colombia, particularities are abundant.

We Colombians have different customs an I will talk a little about them;

we get up and the first thing we do is to take a cup of tinto (coffee), I mean
that wherever you go, someone will always offer you a “tintico”. We will
never miss the party, we will find any reason as a good one to meet with
family and friends, take some “aguardienticos” and dance until dawn.

Here each region specializes in preparing their own arepa, but all share the
basics (made with corn and are consumed at any time of the day).

Here Christmas is a serious thing, we start it since December 7th when we lit
our homes and streets with Christmas lighting, all houses, offices, housing
estates, parks and public squares, shopping centers and even local airports,
set up their “pesebre” (Christmas crib or nativity scene) and begin the
celebration of the Novena.
