Teachers can be very successful with students when it comes to using technology in the

classroom. Having more kids than computers, laptops, and iPad it can become difficult to work
with. Strategies for Teaching helps teachers come up with different ideas to help teach in the
classroom. In the module they gave tips on how to make the integration technology useful and
not just for fun. For example, if you don’t have enough laptops or any at all you can get sticky
notes and have them write their “tweets” and stick them across the board. I believe it's great idea
because it gives students the chance to share ideas with peers and have an open discussion in the
classroom. You can have a rotation schedule which allows students equal time and have other
students working other things related to the lesson. It will also give students the chance to ask
questions. The ISTE standards for students I feel helps the teacher see if students are using their
creativity, research, communication, and critical thinking skills. Schools that have multiple
laptops or computers students will be able to create videos, record group discussions, students
can record themselves for speeches all on reliable apps provided by the teacher. Teachers can us
integration technology in so many educational ways in the classroom for students to grasp a
concept. Strategies for Teaching in module 3 gave tips for Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is the new way for
students to show participation, designs, social skills, and usability in the classroom. You can
have students create a video of themselves teaching a lesson. You can use different reliable
websites for students to create power points for a project. Using educational technology can be a
little different because don’t want students to be dependent on it. You must find other unique
ways to help to students grasp a concept internet can easily go out, everyone gets to have their
own laptop computer or iPad. Being a teacher, you have to creative ideas to help students learn
and want to learn.
