Various Training to Improve Teacher Competency in Inclusive Schools

ABSTRACT
Inclusive education for children with special needs has advantages, namely socially capable
children can compete with normal peers. In inclusive education it is expected that children with
special needs can learn to the maximum extent required by the teacher's role in assisting
students. The success of teachers in carrying out tasks in the process of learning and teaching
in inclusive schools is inseparable from the competencies they have. Good and superior
education depends on qualifications that meet the qualifications and competencies of teachers.
The problems experienced by inclusive school teachers are issues that need attention to
improve the quality of education. While efforts to develop competencies and professional
teachers, training is an alternative to improve quality education services. The purpose of this
article is to provide an overview of training to improve teacher competencies in inclusive
education. Researchers use 5 official databases such as, Garuda Portal, Google Scholar, SAGE
Publisher, ERIC, and Science Direct with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews
and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) and Critical Skill apparsial Program/ CASP . The results of the
literature review are, the results of the study found 5 articles that used qualitative qualifications
in their research. While there are 3 research articles that use quantitative. 7 types of training
that can improve teacher competency, thanksgiving training, orientation and mobility training,
Lesson Study, Collaborative Learning, Contextual Learning, ICT for inclusion, and Class
Management.
