STEFANIA: Alex Robciuc, the best Romanian
photographer, is famous for his wonderful landscape photos, with
the help of which he has won many famous contests. Alex, who
works in an office by day, said: 'I live in a wonderful part of Romania,
which is the Maramures County, and I regularly catch and create
great photos of the landscape.'
Alex focuses on capturing landscapes when they're lit in a
mesmerizing way.
The photos have been taken over a series of years, and Alex is
constantly adding to the collection by waking up at 5am to hike the
mountains and capture more unique scenic shots.

ANDREEA: Alex Robciuc who lives in Timisoara won

the competition with the composition entitled "Vasile
Oanea".
It was designated as the best individual image from all the
photographs taken by Romanian national photographers who
live in Romania, participants in the Open competition of the
Sony World Photography Awards.
The work was also nominated in the Culture category within
the Open competition.
Laurentiu: The photo of Alex Robciuc entitled Vasile
Oanea was designated as the best individual image from all
the works done by photographers of Romanian nationality,
having their domicile in Romania, participants in the Open
competition of the Sony World Photography Awards. The

Open competition. Robciuc lives in Timisoara, is a forest
engineer, freelancer photographer and image editor. His
works capture traditional lifestyles, landscapes, national
monuments and portraits of the villagers from the rural
regions of Romania.
Dalia: Most of his photographs portray landscapes from the
area of Maramures, his native area, the fairytale that inspired
him and offered him the best conditions that a photographer
could want in terms of the natural environment. Maramures has
something magical, when you see ,you allways want to return
there. The places here are a legacy almost intact which no one
has succeeded or wanted to bring about radical changes, has the
strength to overcome the four dimensions. And most
importantly, this weird and cute feeling can show you how
wonderful life really is when you discover it.
Denisa: These kinds of images are in your mind and do more
than a thousand words. Places in Romania like this are many and
most easily accessible. Each of us knows beautiful places in Romania,
which are worth visiting and admired. I think we have a problem in
really believing that they are special and even jealous. To improve
this, we should be proud of what we have and assume Romania with
everything it has to offer. Maramures has wonderful and spectacular
places, kept by such wonderful and beautiful people. In some places
you have the chance to make a time travel just by looking around.
Adrian: Since childhood, besides the rules of behavior and other
moral guidance, it is beneficial to get acquainted with at least one art
form. Photography is part of this sphere, and it is an art form that has
had a great expansion in the last century, not to mention the days in
which the image is extremely important. My opinion is that such a
passion can bring you great personal satisfaction and can combine
many activities considered pleasant (travel, social relations, mini-
photo shoots, promoting any personal activity, etc.) with the fact that
you can make them memorable.
Martina: In order to become a photographer, Alex had to be
truly passionate and hard-working, but he also was born with a
natural talent.His effort was really appreciated!He became famous,
being known everywhere and viral.His works appeared on a lot of
sites,such as Daily Mail, Daily Express, Corriera dela Sera, La
Repubblica,Yahoo, Microsoft Bing, Discovery Romania,which praised
his landscapes and portraits.
In his opinion drawing a landscape needs a lot of patience in order to
make it as realistic as possible .He also said that every portrait he
draws has a story. In conclusion,we all think that Alex Robciuc is an
amazing photographer, because his works are really fascinating,the
colours he used in his peintures are simply eye-catching!u
