Dear Madam,

I came to know that selection for student committee council of event management is currently going on
and I want to be active member of this committee. Currently I am pursuing MBA –Logistics and supply
chain management (1st Sem), I have the skills and experience needed to handle all types events
efficiently in our campus or outside.

While earning a bachelor’s degree from college, I worked in events as hospitality and Volunteer and
Now, I am also working as a Volunteer in AHSCC Conference (Conducted by Transport Department,
School of Business) and also as a Volunteer at Marathon conducted by UPES. During this period of time, I
learned how unpredictable this type of work can be and how important it is to be flexible and
resourceful. Sometimes, we need to think outside the box and above all else, it is important to remain
calm and focused when under pressure, so that we can resolve the issue quickly.

I have excellent time management skills with the ability to schedule and coordinate the peers
throughout the entire project. I also have good communication and people skill with the ability to
address the staff in an efficient but respectful manner and to accept criticism as a way to make
improvements. I have also learned that the peers will often have ideas and suggestions better than us
and that can entirely change the events in positive manner with a huge completion success. I am
passionate about such of nature work and have a real desire to provide excellent service that meet or
exceed the expectations of the university.
