ARLEEN P.

RODELAS – MAED-ECE
MR. JOHN CHAVEZ – PROFESSOR

Child’s Name: SEUSS AKIRO RODELAS Date: JUNE 31, 2019 Time: 4:00 PM

Domain/s: GROSS MOTOR, LAGUAGE, COGNITIVE

Observation: I am about to cook rice when Seuss comes to me. He asked to eat his favorite cold

rice. I am not noticing him because I am busy washing the grains. I was very worried because I

saw him climbing in the stool chair. I hurriedly go, get him and give what he wants.

Reflection: Because I am not always there with my child every day, I sometimes don’t know or

notice his development and the things that he can do.

Goals and Objectives:

GOAL: to assist Seuss in his gross motor development of climbing on furniture

OBJECTIVE: to observe Seuss if he can climb on higher places like in the kitchen counter top

without any help.

Individualized Curriculum Plan for Next Week: I will put the food that he wants over the

microwave oven which is placed on the kitchen counter top. With my support I will let him get

the food without any help. I will observe if how he climbs in higher places.

Changes to the Environment: On making this strategy, make sure that the place is safe for the

child.
