Reflection Paper

1. As a future leader what will be my contributions in developing our country.

Philippines is widely known for its beautiful scenery and great people but behind of these
are the untold story of the people suffering from poverty. Poverty is the reason why young
filipinos doesn't believe that they will achieve their dreams or poverty kills the dream of every
less fortunate young filipinos. As a future leader of my country I would build a program that
focuses in attaining the education of young filipinos. A program that would cater every needs of
young filipinos to accessible quality education. I would bring a burning torch to light up the
darkness of their future. I want to be the hope of every young filipino who wants to achieve
their dreams. Education can be the catalyst needed to pull families and communities out of the
cycle of poverty. Knowledge gives children the power to dream of a better future and the
confidence needed to pursue a full education, which in turn will help generations to come.

2. Project yourself 5 years from now

 I project myself 5 years from now as a dreamer whose starting to fulfill his dream. I see my
self pursuing the chosen field of career. As a seafearer in the future I know life won't be easy as I
think because I will be away from my family but I can do everything for them. I know that my
family sacrifices a lot just to pursue this career and I want payback by giving the life that they
deserve after all the sacrifices they've made. I want to build or to have a house for my parents
and help my siblings. I also want to build a house for myself so when the time comes that I have
my own family I don't need to worry where to live. I will also secure the future of my children by
giving them the good quality of education and instilling them the importance of being a good
and God-fearing person.
