    Chapter 2

    REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE AND STUDIES

    The theories and principles that are being discussed in this chapter are related to

    the present study.

    Related Literature

    Foreign Literature:

    Tenedero, (1998) cites dunn and dunn who prove that since students

    achieve higher grades when taught through their perceptual strengths. It is only

    justifiable that the game concept should be applied in doing or assigning homework.

    Homework should not reinforce what has been taught and should not be assigned from

    an appropriate text after a lecture.

    Tenedero (1998) state that it is a fallacy to think that student learns best when

    seated upright, before or in front of a desk or table. Branton (1996) conducted a study

    about sitting and found out that when a person sits on a chair constructed from wood,

    plastic or steel, approximately is present of the total body weight is supported on only

    four square inches of bone. It results stress on the tissues of the buttock after causes

    fatigue, discomfort and the need for postural movement.

    Age won’t count in the understanding of a student. Tenedero (1998) says that it

    is not true that the order the students are, the easier it is for them to adapt to a teachers

    style. 10
