For Widescreen on Steam Version go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\
Pivotal Games\Conflict Desert Storm\Device Settings

and go to ResolutionIndex and then type the Hexadecimal as '6' and the Decimal as
'6'
or go to ResolutionIndex and then type the Hexadecimal as '11' and the Decimal as
'17' for higher Resulution.

This helps for me on Windows 10 System
