Job description:

 Conduct intake interviews to clients and collateral informants


 Administer, score and interpret tests of clients
 Assist collateral informants in the assessment procedure
 Answer queries that the client and/or collateral informants may have about the case or the
assessment
 Write psychological reports and evaluations
 Develop and formulate treatment plans
 Participate in case conferences with the Psychologist

Expected outcome:
 Write 5-8 comprehensive psychological evaluations
 Formulate at least one treatment plan for a client
 Produce a psychological report (Self)

Learning outcomes:
At the end of the practicum program, the on-the-job trainee will:
 Be competent in conducting psychological assessments
 Gain more knowledge and understanding on the technical aspects of the psychological
assessment and evaluation
 Be aware on the conduct of practicing ethical standards and procedures in psychological
assessment
 Have more confidence in interviewing, interacting and communicating with different clients
and informants
 Be more familiar with the different psychological disorders on the DSM-5 and in
determining the correct diagnosis for the client’s case
 Be confident in coming up with well written and well explained impression and findings for
the client’s case
 Improve ability in writing psychological evaluations (correct grammar usage, translating
technical terms into layman’s terms)
 Learn how to formulate treatment plans for a client
