Direction: Choose at least 3 technologies/contributions from the middle ages which you
think are most valuable for survival? Justify your answer.
Heavy wheeled plough, Wheelbarrow and Spinning wheel. These are the 3
technologies from the middle ages that I think will contribute more value for survival. Why?
Let me justify it. Heavy wheeled plough, during the Middle Ages this equipment provides
help for the workers to cultivate things especially to their agricultural advancement and I
think it has value that can contribute for survival, simply because it makes work more
easy for them so that they will be able to survive the day with lessen workloads, through
this equipment their jobs will become more productive and fast. Wheelbarrow, this
equipment is used for construction, mining and farming for carrying materials, well I can
say that it has value that will add for survival knowing that it carry materials it will be easy
for them to transfer from one place to another if needed using this equipment since it can
carry materials instead carrying things through their bodies, but because this things is
invented they don’t need to feel pain and hardship just to transfer materials from one
place to another especially things that are heavy. Lastly Spinning wheel, contributes value
for survival through it’s used, same thing it helps people back then to innovate things.
Spinning wheel is a replacement of hand wheel, so they learn how to innovate and they
are using their minds to produce another materials which is needed. They started to think
wisely so that they came up with things which is essential in survival.
