Chapter III

Methodology

This chapter contains the research procedures and methodology that was used

to conduct the study. It includes the research design, participants of the study, research

instrument, data gathering procedures and date analysis.

Research Design

The research utilized the qualitative phenomenological method approach to

achieve the purpose of the study, which is to determine the chosen respondent in Luis

Palad Integrated High School at the Brgy. Ipilan Tayabas City regarding the Wearing

School ID and the reason why the guard not allow the students to enter.

Research Locale

The Luis Palad Integrated High School is located in Brgy. Ipilan Tayabas City. It

was built since 1912 under of the Batas Blg. 3575 of legistative of the Philippine country

until it is signed on the 26th of November 1930. In the twelve hectares of coconut

donated by Mr. Luis Palad as a donation to the Barangay of Talao-talao in the city of

Lucena. The research chose this area for the study of “Wearing Student ID: Reason

Why the guard not allow them to enter”.

Research Population and Sample

The study involves a total number of 30 students to be respondents were

selected based on observing the students who always forgot the school ID that cause of

not entering inside the campus and having an interview to the guard to mention the
students and the grade level that responsible for this behavior. It is compose of Juñior

and Señior high school of Luis Palad Integrated High School.

Research Instrument

The research used an interview for the instruments that help and guide the study

and to gather data for this research.

Data Gathering Procedures

The researchers created a letter to the principal asked for approval and

permission to conduct the study in Luis Palad Integrated High School. The researchers

also provide letters for the respondents in Juñior and Señior high school in Luis Palad

Integrated High School for the agreement of having an interview and documentation

that were based on Wearing Student’s ID: Reason Why the guard not allow them to

enter.
