first hotel to offer a special atmosphere consisting of intimacy, charm and refinement, and
we will do our best to see that this special spirit accompanies you throughout your stay.

Enclosed is a description of the various services available to you. If you have any questions,
or any concerns, please come see us -- we will make every effort to satisfy you.

 Some helpful information…

AIR CONDITIONNING
The air-conditioning will only work when the door and windows to your room are closed.

BABY-SITTING
If you would like to have someone mind your little ones, we can organize babysitting
services. Ask the reception desk about the rates.

BATHROBES
If you would like to purchase a bathrobe identical to those provided in your rooms, they are
on sale at the boutique.

BEACH TOWELS
They are at your disposal at the reception desk against your arrival-coupon. You have the
possibility of changing them at any time.

Important: to preserve the beauty of the site, may we ask you not to hang your beach towels
on the balcony. Thank you!

BOUTIQUE
It is located next to the boat house on the right as you go to the sea. At the boutique, you will
find souvenirs, lovely clothing, jewellery manufactured in Mauritius, as well as holiday
musts: books, postcards, sun cream, etc.

CHECK-OUT
The rooms must be free by 11:30 a.m. on the day of departure.

CYCLONES
If a cyclone should be moving towards Mauritius, details on its position and force will be
posted at the reception desk. A cyclone is considered to be a case of “force majeure”, the
management consequently cannot be held responsible for the interruption of certain activities
and services in the hotel during and after its passage.

EXCURSIONS
Hotel 20°SUD is an excellent starting point for outings to discover Mauritius. The Jardin de
Pamplemousse and the Sugar museum are only a 15 minute drive, the enormous Mont Choisy
beach is just five minutes away, and we are half an hour from Port Louis.

We also organise different trips by car or by boat such as: BBQ on one of the islands,
afternoon tea and snorkelling at Coin de Mire island, shopping at Port Louis, promenade at Le
Pouce mountain, sportive trip in the South (Tyrolean circuit), swimming with dolphins, visit
of an ancient traditional house or even a champagne sundowner in the speedboat (350 HP) on
one of the islands.

FIRST AID
A first aid kit is available at the reception desk 24 hours a day. It contains emergency
medicines and material. We can also call a doctor in case of need.

INTERNET
We have the pleasure to offer you a free, unlimited, Internet connection (512 mb ADSL Wi-
Fi). The connection settings are as follows (long, because it is 128 bytes):

If you don't have a portable computer, you will find the Internet Corner located next to the
Reception.

LAUNDRY
A laundry bag is at your disposal. Your laundry will be ready within 24 hours (see price list).
Dry cleaning will require three to four days.

LUGGAGE
A baggage room is at your disposal so as not to crowd the bedroom. Please contact the
reception desk.

PARKING
We decline any responsibility for any damage or theft incurred on the hotel parking lot.

RESTAURANT
Breakfast: As from 7 a.m. with no time limit … (After 10 a.m., the buffet is put away and
breakfast is served at the table or in the rooms).

Lunch: from noon to 2:30 pm (last order).

Afternoon tea: from 4 to 5 p.m. Tea, coffee and cakes offered every day with different
varieties of sugar from Mauritius.

Dinner: as from 7:30 p.m. (last orders at 9:30).

20° SUD special feature: with the half-board you order as you please from the menu, rather
than being served a daily special as is usually the case. In addition, the chef will propose his
daily suggestion every evening.

Correct dress is required in the evening at the bar and the restaurant. We ask you to be
kind enough not to come in the evening barefoot or in shorts.
SAFE
You have a safe located in the bedroom closet. To create or modify the password, use the
following procedure:

- Close the safe and enter: (*) then (4 digit code) then (#)
- Keep it closed for five seconds before letting up.
- To open: (*) then (4 digit code) then (#)

NB: We decline any liability in the event of theft of the safes in the bedrooms; valuables must
imperatively be left with the reception to be stored in the hotel safe.

SHUTTLE TO GRAND BAY

A traditional wooden pirogue, fully restored, is at your disposal to take you to Sunset, the
centre of the town of Grand Baie, just five minutes by boat (stores, bars, restaurants, etc).

The shuttle leaves the hotel at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The return
shuttle leaves Grand Baie 15 minutes later at 9:45 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 2:45 p.m. and 4:45 p.m.

SPA
Valérie and her team of beauty specialists propose a variety of massages and body care
treatments (COMFORT ZONE spa products) every day from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Make an appointment by dialling 54.

The spa is also equipped with a bubbling bath and a Turkish bath and with the teeth whitening
equipment. This treatment will be done by a dentist.

SPORTS and various activities

At no extra charge:

Windsurfing boards (for adults and children) with different types of rigging depending on the
wind, catamaran (Hobbie-Cat 15), boat outings to go snorkelling in the lagoon, kayak, laser,
bikes.

Relaxation: Turkish bath and bubbling bath in the spa, a library with a wide variety of books,
cards and board games.

As a gift: for two people sharing the same room and doing both a “First Dive”, the dive of the
second person is free…

For a supplement (in house ):

Scuba diving (PADI and CMAS), waterskiing, lifting parachute, sailing cruises (four-person
catamaran), speed boat excursions (sunset ride, picnic or snorkelling at Ile Plate, Ilot Gabriel
and Ile d’Ambre), scooter and car rental.

We also organise different types of trips such as: shopping in Port Louis, promenade on Le
Pouce mountain, sportive trip in the South (Rando Fun at yemen, Tyrolean circuit at St Félix,
trekking in the Black River gorges, swimming with the dolphins, visit of an ancient traditional
house, of the Jardin de Pamplemousse, of the Sugar Museum, etc…

For a supplement (outside suppliers):

Sports fishing, horseback riding (5 min), 18-hole golf course at Belle Mare, Bel Ombre, Ile
aux Cerfs (50 min), tennis, kite surfing, walking underwater, excursion in a glass-bottom boat
and discovery of the underwater fauna and flora in a submarine (leaving from Grand Baie).

Just a five-minute walk from 20° SUD, the «Grand Baie Gym» offers a large fitness and
bodybuilding area (300 m²) where courses are organized in the morning and evening: yoga,
tai-chi, step, salsa, …

SWIMMING POOL
We draw the attention of parents to the depth of the swimming pools: the shallow pool (in
front of the bar) is 80cm deep and the large pool goes down to 1.60m. There are no guards for
these two pools and consequently we accept no liability concerning them.

TELEPHONE
The direct telephone number of your room is indicated on the phone. This means that you can
be called directly by an outside correspondent without going through the hotel switchboard.

When the red light flashes, you have a message. The procedure is as follows:

o Dial 77 to listen to the message

Your room has a flat screen LCD television set connected to Canal Satellite. We are happy to
