Hearing about the word ICT really catches my attention because it declaims

about computers, gadgets, and other tools that are used in giving information. As the
year passed by or generation there are changes, there is always upgrading and
improving it’s either the business selling strategies, political way of fostering their
platforms, and the fashion trends etc. particularly with the help of ICT, the changes
become more highly like of the people whose more innovative of exposing it to the
public.

As sharing the thoughts of how the ICT helps the global issues, of course it is
more facilitative in educational because through ICTs, individuals can learn
independently anywhere, everywhere and anytime. ICTs gave a big impact to the
education because as my personal experiences, I gained more confidence by
constructing my own knowledge as I explore through ICTs. It always enlightens my
mood because I get too excited in learning through ICT. The most significant is not only
the teaching strategy improved but as well as the ambience of the classroom or the
learning environment. Educational technology influences everyone to be aware on how
they were going to immerse their selves in having opportunities to educate their selves
in all aspect of life specifically in school.

ICTs have made the opportunity to be the tool in enhancing teaching and
learning process, enhancing the quality and accessibility of education, enhancing
learning environment, enhancing learning motivation and enhancing the scholastic
performance which really made me realize that ICTs have the power to change my
perspective in teaching strategies or innovative way of imparting it to us learners,
especially when we are future educators.

As a student for now, I can actually give example how does the ICT has helped
me improved my skills, at the moment I am typing the reflection with regard to the
particular topic rapidly.
 When the teacher assigned the task, fortunately through ICT, I can explore and
read the tips and information on how to write the reflection which will definitely broaden
my mind to exactly express and expound my ideas and can organize it. ICTs may be
have different ways on how to use it, the advantages and disadvantages as well as the
roles, the more highly like and significant learning is you are the one who are
controlling, you are the one who were going to learn from it and from that you can be
the change who has ability to set a standard for yourself to meet the expectations and
not to fail anyone as an example in having ICTs on conducive learning.

As I have read the article, I came up to the conclusion that ICTs are very useful
in teaching and learning process than the traditional way of teaching. As for my
personal experiences way back in high school our teachers conducted the Strategic
Intervention Materials for those students who hardly learn the particular topic on the
specific subject and that is through ICT in which the results has improved than the
previous one, it’s because the students gives more attention to the tools that are being
used to teach which really motivate the students to learn rapidly. As an observer, the
more the instructional materials gets lousy, the more the students gets boring and
sleepy. Again and again, my interest in learning gets greedier to be the part of those
who are acquiring skills on using ICTs as the source of creating innovative way of
helping slow learners.

Actually, I suffer when I just listen to my teachers, I get bored easily and
suddenly found myself learning the topics with the use of ICT solely, just to catch up
and achieved the learning outcomes. As for this, I know that some are just like me, who
likes to depend to the ICTs who take over the role of the teachers to make us learn,
broaden our mind to something new and construct knowledge in order to impart it to
those in needs.
 As a future teacher, all of the experiences like demo-teaching and in classroom
discussions there are different situations that will surely reflect to my way of teaching
just like on how I was being trained in the field of education. How does it help me to
become an effective one? The one that I am discussing about is the use of ICTs in my
field. Yes, after reading the article I have learned that there will be a positive learning
environment through ICTs, more specifically that the learners will be motivated in
enhancing their scholastic performances and enable to gain discipline within their
selves.

Using ICTs are not easy especially when you were not knowledgeable enough in
the field of it, but as for this generation it’s rare to discover who were not informed about
it, specifically those who are in rural area. Seems like an honor to be a part of
generation where all students are becoming more competitive and that’s happened
when ICTs are becoming more important that it is a part of the achievements of an
individual specifically students and teachers. Recently, one of our instructors is in a high
position which is the Vice President in which his works include travelling, that’s why he
can’t attend the class every schedule so with the help of the ICT he has the software
that can be a helped for us to connect to each other from time to time. Whenever he
want to give a tasks, he will just going to post in our ‘Google classroom’ which made us
easier to get informed. No wonder, all of us were able to connect easily and interact
because of the help of ICTs.

In that situation, many realizations has come to my mind, in the future my student
and I will be having no problem for not discussing face-to-face because the truth is there
is actually a way to stay connected especially when there is inadequate of classrooms
and chairs because of the population.
 Sometimes, going to school is a tiring one, I always keep on pushing myself and
reminding as well that to be positive even though the classes are very hard to be with
because I can’t understand well and can participate easily. So, because of my laziness I
am very dependent to my classmates, I get the opportunity to copy and paste their
answer to mine. Whenever I enter the room the formula of the math gets chaos in my
head, the instructors are scary to deal and have no idea how to fix my issues. However
the ICTs won’t let me to be a hopeless and a passive learner instead it leads me to
explore more and let myself make use of the ICTs to do the research, help to solve the
math problems, self-study and made me do the analysis whenever I read some books.

Through ICTs, independent learning is possible because you are exploring and
constructing knowledge by your own. But wait, I believe it will not only helpful to the lazy
people but to learners’ with disabilities, those who were in long distance because the
fear of having a discussion face-to-face will no longer remind anymore instead it will
boost their confidence through the help of ICTs. They can learn by video conferencing
or on what we call the E-learning that is a web-based learning that refers to learning
using an internet browser such as the model, blackboard or internet explorer (Timio,
2002 as cited by Ratheeswari, 2018). These people have actually their own computer
in their own home which serves as part of their learning environment. So, it is also
possible because the accessibility and the quality of ICTs are becoming effective to
those learners who hardly face the real world but still can shine in their own way by
immersing their selves into a useful one. There are no barriers when you wanted to
learn, explore new things and want to be a creative one because you can actually learn
whatever, whenever and anytime if you are determined.
 As an education student, the common tasks that I have been doing is the
reporting because it is part of the training as I teach in the future, but of course when we
say reporting it was just a discussion face-to-face. However, I don’t settle for less, I did
the research and the analysis through ICTs in order to meet my objectives in making my
learners or classmates understand my specific topics. The ICTs lead the way and open
an opportunities to explore, to dig deeper and to go beyond the topics which will
broaden my thoughts. It gives me the room to be an innovative one that presents the
topic in a unique way by adding some elements to rapidly change the views of the
learners in which it will give them more and more motivation to learn. In that way, I can
be the example on influencing the ICTs to them as well as to make them eliminate the
feeling of being in confusion.

Way back in my first year college, I was given a task to discuss about ‘Prenatal
Development’, in order to not to bore my classmates and instructor I have used ICTs
through presenting the videos about the development which is easier to make them
understand and to have the willingness to focus on it. After showing it to them my only
part there is to give brief discussion just to clarify some things. The report has made me
met my objectives and enable to satisfy the expectations of my instructor as well as my
classmates. It was always on my mind setting that in doing everything I know that I can
be more it is because there many things that keep on changing me as a student and in
all aspect of my life, one of those is the effective use of ICT for education and learning.
It gives abundance of information whenever I browse and try to discover something new
which will influence the society.

The significant roles of the ICTs are lifting those who were not immersing their
selves in the room of many opportunities such that providing them better learning, to
make them critical thinker, and to help improve their scholastic performances as what I
have been trying to improve.
 As what I have been emphasizing in this reflection that ICTs really enhanced my
learning motivation and as I am greedier to give my attention in learning because I do
not have only the teachers who motivates me but also my determination on becoming a
student-centered learner. The K-12 program in our country have made me more literate
in computers like in Media and literacy Information which gave a big contribution in my
life as what I have been contributing to my performances. It really eliminates my time on
spending in the negative side of my learning habits instead I become more productive
on my personal engagement to the tasks on using computer and or the internet
connection.

As it helps me to become a competitive one, it’s because I kept on picking the

advantages of ICTs in my academics life especially in my learning process. It has made
the world easier to be creative and to be able to evaluate the quality and the worthiness
of individual’s capability on exposing their analysis through ICTs. This includes the
relevant and the appropriateness of using the ICTs in teaching and learning process in
which I have meticulously do the proper way of using it whenever I have the chance to
construct knowledge and imparting it to everyone 24/7. One of my experiences is when
I’m having the study about the scientific names of the grass or flowers that will fight
against the bacteria of the body, nowadays it’s hard to prove it in just guessing or
having the trial and error method to the respondent in which it can causes negative side
effects that will affect the health. With the help of ICTs, it helps me to determine which
the right one is. It gives me more information about the specific grass or flower and
enables to do the experimentation through ICTs, afterwards the statistical tools or the
software becomes easier to give the results which will prove the study.

The study I have been doing for how many times have finally made me do the
honor to present it through ICTs in which I become more competitive on proving the
validity of my study.
 I have been proud on how the ICTs help my learning process as well as
improving me to become productive always. But, I forgot to reflect on how it boosts my
confidence on becoming more competitive every time doing the research, constructing
knowledge and imparting my experiences. I always thought that someday because of
the many more advantages and positive use of ICTs, the implementation of it in the
education has set the standards highly for it gives integration to the educational system.
The teachers and learners are becoming more attract to the adaptation of it in education
and learning. That’s why my confidence is always varied because it represents my
quality of doing something through ICTs.

The teachers are also skillful and friendly because whenever they teach, the
connectedness of ICTs and their creativity will really prove the effective way of teaching.
It has helped them to improve their learning materials, instructional guide and etc. to
facilitate the students in effective way. There is a collaborative earning between the
teachers and students that may happen through the ICTs because the strategies of the
teacher and the way of constructing knowledge of the learners will meet which leads to
an interactive discussion in order to meet the technology integration. The development
of the teaching and learning process will be given more importance from the society and
will be expose to the worldwide because of its effectiveness in education especially to
those places that was not involved into this system as well as to those inadequate of
teaching strategies. They weren’t able to get some attention because of the low rate of
education, less teachers and etc.

It’s the chance on implementing ICTs for fostering better learning, which will
guide to increasing the low rate of education no matter how inadequate of teachers but
still can manage to help the learners and enable to make them adopt and create new
strategies through ICTs.
 Information communication technology in education has the disadvantages like
making disturbances in class and time consuming because of the preparation. Our
purposive communication instructor has brought the new upgraded projector in our
class and still don’t know how to operate it and it made her 30 minutes to settle it. But at
that time it causes chaos, the uninterested of waiting for her to finish it and the
remaining will only consume of signing of attendance which is unhealthy learning
environments. The teacher doesn’t realize that it is not conducive, she let it control her
without thinking the possibilities or consequences in classroom. It will influence the
learners to lessen their motivation to learn.

The learning is, if you wanted to improve your learning strategies you have to do
the research and analysis to foster better teaching. You have to adapt and accept, that’s
the time you are being recognized as well as the relevance of ICTs in education will play
a big part in leading the way as a cognitive tool of learners. Recognizing the impact of it
in education will reflect to the creative way of teachers because the influences of it to
the students will make them felt to be more at more in schools anytime. Online classes
is one of the examples to help also to meet the needs of an individual, it’s either the
teacher or the learners because the influences has spread more widely. That’s why as I
read the article that the ICT is indeed the catalyst for change.

The teleconferencing such as the Audio-conferencing, Video-conferencing, web-

based conferencing and Open and distance Learning are the most common that are
used for innovative way teaching and learning process because it eliminates more
barriers just to be able to make fair to everyone who confidentially learn in whatever
way they have wanted. The insecurities and enviousness will be lessen instead there
are improvement in all aspect of life.
 As the study concluded that successful ICT integration in education and more
attention should be paid to specific roles of ICT in offering multimedia simulations of
good teaching practices, delivering individualized training courses, helping overcome
teachers’ isolation, were connecting individual teachers to a larger teaching community
on a continuous basis, and promoting teacher to teacher collaboration. I have learned
that in this conclusion the teaching and learning process through ICTs will be more
effective in which it could kill all the impossibilities and will not hinder the implementation
of it. The use of such technology will give a big impact to the teachers because it is the
one who improve their skills in teaching, in facilitating and by imparting their learning
guide through ICTs. The future education system will be more interesting because the
expectations and the standards in using ICTs as part of the increasing the rate of
education will be more highly like the productivity and competitiveness of teachers and
students are worthiness. It will meet the demands of the society and the likes.

As for me, reading the literature review has broadened my mind because my
interest in learning is increasing which will make me competitive. The most important is
to make use the positive side of ICTs in education to critically maintain the effective
teaching strategies and enables to promote better learning. It will increase the learning,
teaching and research because you can access anytime, anywhere and everywhere
education regardless of the instructions given. The learners can be an advanced one,
whose always digging, exploring and discovering as well as for the teachers. Through
these, there is a high possibility of increasing the performances and achievement of the
students.

As this study was concluded, through the use of ICTs they were able to show
that by using qualitative and quantitative they have showed that there is an
effectiveness of the roles of ICTs in education.
 The advantages of ICTs in education have let the teachers and learners become
more independent and open the room for immersing into eliminating the barriers like
distance, person with disabilities, and for those who are afraid of face-to-face
discussion. As a future educator, I now have my own objectives for what I am going to
have the strategies, to be more in innovating the ambience of the classroom and to be
the one who will going to spread and influence the worldwide on how effective my
teaching process by the power of ICTs. And after all, I have made a conclusion that
therefore by the ICTs it enhances teaching and learning process, enhances the quality
and accessibility of education, enhancing learning environment, enhancing learning
motivation and enhancing the scholastic performances in which the ICTs in education
have played a big role to achieve the standards and the desired goals of students as
well as for meeting the learning outcomes of teachers.
