Gender Inequality

Gender inequality acknowledges that men and women are not equal and that gender
affects an individual's lived experience. Discrimination based on gender or sex is a common
civil rights violation that takes many forms, including sexual harassment,
pregnancy discrimination, and unequal pay for women who do the same jobs as men. Gender
discrimination describes the situation in which people are treated differently simply because
they are male or female, rather than on the basis of their individual skills or capabilities.
Gender discrimination is an issue that has been debated for many decades. A society should
always be peaceful, united and tied by good mores and tradition. However, the issue about
gender discrimination reduced our great societies to the most uncouth places associated with.

Gender inequality affects us in many ways. For example in our mental health, Gender
discrimination victims often experience harassment which can lead to increased depression and
anxiety. Such effects do not only affect the victim of harassment, but it also extends to other
members of the organization. Meaning, the energy, focus and morale of the whole team could
be exhausted or sapped by the presence of gender inequality. Why gender discrimination affects
everyone, gender inequality affects everyone, including men. Stereotypes or ‘rules’ about how
women and men, girls and boys should be begin in childhood and follow us through to
adulthood. Not everyone experiences inequality the same way. The situation is worse, and
often different, for people who face more than one type of discrimination.

The main point of gender inequality, in simple words, may be defined as discrimination
against women based on their sex. Women are traditionally considered by the society as weaker
sex. It affects us in many ways and it does nothing good for us. So we should stop
discrimination or gender inequality because it is so baseless as to look at human sexuality. The
worst form of inequality is to try to make unequal things equal. A man of quality is never
threatened by a woman of equality. And finally, in our time a beard is the one thing that a
woman cannot do better than a man, or if she can her success is assured only in a circus.
