INTRODUCTION

Waste is everyone's business. We all produce waste in nearly everything

that we do, like water waste and solid waste. Our advocacy is all about Proper Waste
Management. Our mission is to manage school solid waste as a resource, promoting
sustainable, environmentally sound and cost effective practices through an integrated
system of waste reduction, reuse, recycling and education. Our vision is to reduce the
amount of solid waste by promoting individual and social responsibilities and to recover
waste for its highest and best use while caring and preserving the beauty of our nature.

PURPOSE

This activity is very relevant especially for students, the goal of solid
waste management is reducing and eliminating adverse impacts of waste materials on
human health and environment to support economic development and superior quality
of life. It also provide prevention, preparing for reuse, recycling and proper disposal. It
highlights the 3R’s; Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
 DESCRIPTION

We all know that solid waste is one of the major problem of our school.
As students of this school we create an advocacy which is proper waste management. In
our poster you can see the illustration of the earth as the representation of our school.
The words reuse, reduce, recycle symbolizes that we, the students should do such things
in order to have a clean environment. On the center you can see a plastic bottle which is
banned so that we can lessen the numbers of plastic materials in our school. All in all we
want all the students and faculty of this school to be informed and knowledgeable about
the proper waste management. So in this way we can save and preserve the beauty of
our nature.

MEDIA

We want to use Facebook Page to inform all about our advocacy. All of
the students nowadays are using social media specially Facebook and that will be an
advantage for us to easily share information about the proper waste management. On
that Facebook page we will put information about how we are going to reduce solid
waste and what programs should be implemented. Posting photos and articles that are
related to our topic will be useful to easily interact and influence our viewers.
