STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This study is intended to assess the modifiable and non modifiable cardiovascular risk

factors among employees of FAITH community.

The researchers sought to answer the following questions.

1. What is the demographic profile of FAITH employees in terms of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Gender

1.3 Occupation

1.4 Length of Service

2. What risk factor are FAITH employees at greater exposure in terms of:

2.1 Physical Activity;

2.2 Eating Behavior;

2.3 Tobacco Use and Exposure;

2.4 Alcohol;

2.5 Health related conditions; and

2.6 Stress?

3. Is there a significant relationship between the demographic profile of FAITH employees

and the risk factors that leads in the development of cardiovascular diseases?

4. Based on the findings, what action plan can be proposed to the Human Resource

Management Department to prevent cardiovascular diseases and keep the employees fit

and healthy?
