Being born and raised in bourgeoisie, I always found the financial resources always limited whether it is

for quality education or for better living standards. In a patriarch family, my father is the only
breadwinner supporting the family of five including my mother assuming the status of housewife. My
sister is a pursuing full-time medicine course in a leading medical institution and brother is in struggling
phase after degree completion. With the meager monthly income of PKR 60000 (USD 382) it's always
hard to pay medical bills, electricity and gas bills with hefty incurred educational fees. Sometimes ending
up taking loans to support the living. I and my sister both are boarding students far from home and it is
like supporting three families in the words of my father who only manages to pay tuition fee and lodging
charges let alone the living expenses. Subsequently, in the country where the unemployment is ever
increasing it is very hard to find part time job which can help in a considerable way. With such
conditions, it is always encouraging to see the platforms like edx and coursera offering quality education
along with other amazing resources to explore. The provision of financial Aid will shun the possibilities of
financial constraints becoming hurdle in procuring quality education with enhanced stand out skills.

I am 7th semester student pursuing BSc. Mechanical Engineering degree in a public research university
in Pakistan. During the course of the study there are various subjects like thermodynamics, mechanical
analysis, fluid dynamics, machine design, manufacturing processes are taught to enable the students to
pursue career in their desired field with possibly no difficulties. My field of interest is "Machine design
and manufacturing processes" along with IC engines.

This course is the true reflection of the skill set required for a designer in job market. The manufacturing
industry is making a digital transformation, allowing companies to customize production through
advances in machine learning, sustainable design, generative design, and collaboration, with integrated
design and manufacturing processes. I had the opportunity to learn various design software like
Solidworks and AutoCad-3D in university as part of the course syllabus. Learning the Autodesk fusion
360 will enhance my design skills further and will help broadening the job opportunities in near future.
Furthermore, the Autodesk fusion 360 designing software is of its own kind combining CAD,CAE and
CAM in one comprehensive pack. The course will be of great help for learning the foundations of
product innovation and digital manufacturing while developing the technical skills within Autodesk
Fusion 360.

With meagre financial resources it is already hard for me to pay for my degree program in university. In
such circumstances to pay for ancillary course will be great burden on me with propensity of adversely
affecting my education.

Please grant me Financial Aid to pursue the course for free so that i may entertain myself with quality
education helpful for my brighter future career prospects.
