OET - THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW – 14 test dates are available for OET in 40 countries per year.

But the application for the test stops three weeks before the test date. The test dates slots are
available every month but can only book the next three tests at a time. The test result will be
published online 17 days after the test date. Most of the countries now consider OET result as the

IELTS Booking via British Council – You can register for IELTS test through online or by post quickly
and easily via British Council with the help of below steps:

 Decide which version of the test right for you – IELTS Academic – is recommended for
candidates who want to undertake academic study. – IELTS General Training –
recommended for candidates who want to work, work-related training or for migration.
 Check the test dates at your preferred location and make sure you do your booking one
month prior to make sure you get a slot.
 Make sure you have your passport number ready at the time of registration since passport
is the identity document for the IELTS registration. You need to carry your passport on your
exam day.
 The registration Fees is INR 12,650. You can do the payment through online registration
portal
 On successful compilation of the registration you will get a conformation mail with
payment receipt.

OET Exam Registration Guidelines – Occupational English Test could be registered via online or
offline. But it’s convenient and preferred to book online. The candidate should have an identity
proof that include photography and a digital passport photo. Also require credit card or payment
details to meet the exam fee which is $587AUD. Non refundable booking fees of $7AUD also will be
charged during registration. To fasten the booking procedure you can apply through the myOET
profile at the application page and follow the below steps:

 From dashboard click Apply for the test.
 Fill out information in each step.
 Review the times, location and profession.
 Proceed to checkout.
 Fill credit card details.

INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE SYSTEM or commonly known as IELTS is conducted by

Cambridge. The exam is conducted by two agencies, IDP and British Council. The cost of taking exam
in India is Rs 11,300/-
