SAFETY ALERT
When Happened: On 2nd Day of October, 2019

Where Happened: Incident took place at one of the Contactor’s office at RNPP
Site (Not related to our works).

What Happened: In one of the meetings in office, the affected person (AF) was
participating in the discussions. While waving his hands during the discussions, his
elbow hit the protruding edge of a paper cutter kept in the stationary holder on
the table adjacent to the AF. The flesh of the AF’s elbow was cut and started
bleeding.

What immediate actions taken: The AF was immediately taken to RNPP Medical
Center and necessary medicine and bandage provided to the wound. The
Protruding edge of paper cutter was pushed-in.

Lesson Learned:

1. Paper Cutter to be kept in Stationary holder under the Closed Condition.

2. Scissor to be kept with sharp edge down.
3. Any other sharp object viz Pencil, Pen etc to be kept with their sharp edge
down.
