through it

Sign when your not listening so you can avoid so can improve the skill for a better listening :

3. Debating , wait until their done
4. Playing with devices, keep it in bag or put in the table
5. Asking them to repeat

MAYBE because they are passionate = try to connect with their passion

They may not think your you’re listening = restate their point with an action plan

They may be angry = if your at fault , apologize ; if not, understand what they needed

Focus on 1 behavior at a time : not interrupt, keep our devices
