Work Experience
Fareway Grocery Stores, Urbandale, IA – Courtesy/Dairy Clerk (2015 – present):
 Bagged and carried out groceries to better the customers’ satisfaction and view of the
store
 Worked as a dairy clerk and independently monitored the dairy section to ensure quality
standards and better the appearance of the store
 Worked with groups of people to stock the shelves and keep the store well-organized
Union Drive Marketplace, Ames, IA – (2018 – present):
 Worked in the dish room on a fast-paced dish line to quickly get clean dishes back out to
the customers
 Served food to the customer’s preference and monitored dishes and silverware to assure a
well-organized workplace
Activities
George Washington Carver Scholarship:
 The program offers many different volunteer opportunities and learning experiences. The
scholarship was received due to my academic success in high school
JROTC (2012-2016):
 Provided great leadership experience and community service opportunities. At the end of
four years I was a company commander and in charge of over 70 cadets
 I was tasked with making sure things ran smoothly for each of my five platoons and had
to lead and organize the largest company in the program
