The topic for my senior exit project is about raising the minimum wage. Raising the

minimum is an important topic because it can relate to many people and also impact many in a

beneficial way. There's many ways raising the minimum wage could be beneficial by lowering

money amounts from governmental needs, person having a substantial life, and lower poverty

rates.

When choosing a topic for my senior exit project, I wanted a topic that many can relate to

and raising the minimum wage would be a good topic to choose. I felt that the topic of raising the

minimum wage would also have a positive impact because it's been a conversation that comes up

a lot on the news. I also picked this topic because I had a job and felt that the wage should be

raised because I was working hard for a low amount for many hours.

Throughout the project, obstacles I had to overcome was time management. To complete

the paper it had to be done in parts and you have due dates for each part of the paper. I also had

to spend time at home working on the paper. I spent my time doing my paper after I came home

from practice.

From writing my paper something I learned that could help me in the future is proper

ways to cite evidence and use reliable sources. They would help me by using sources that are

trusted and have data evidence. It would also help me in the future by writing more improved

papers by having proven evidence.

 Next time I need to conduct research and write a paper something I would do differently

is to take my time more wisely. Even though I used time outside of school to work on my paper I

should have taken more time in school, so I had more help from a teacher.
