“Back to the future”, a film produced by Steven Spielberg

Back to the Future is such an inventive and exciting piece of filmmaking that it is impossible to
forget about it. I first saw this film when I was a child, and it is the only movie that I know of that I
couldn’t ever get bored with.
The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis. This is a time-travelling teen comedy with Michael J
Fox and Christopher Lloyd as main characters and is considered to be one of the classic films of the
Eighties.
Marty McFly helps his friend Doc Brown to try out Doc's new invention - time-machine, but ends
up being taken 30 years back in time. Marty, a boy of the 80's, has to deal with problems in the 50's and
get his parents to fall in love, to set straight the damage his presence has done to the events of the past.
On the one hand the casting of every character involved was absolutely perfect, and the
performances were spectacular. This fusion of science-fiction, action, romance and comedy is able to keep
you on the edge of your seat for about 2 hours.
On the other hand the special effects are not first rated, but it does’t have any bad effect on the film
at all.
Overall, I’d recommend this film to the people who appreciate old films and American humor.
