hr in immediate release layer and drug release 97.5 % for 24 hr in sustained release layer
using HPMC E50 is selected as optimized batch of bilayer tablet formulation.
Abstract - The aim of this review paper is discuss about different types of safety devices,
which are used to control the accidents during the dynamic or at static condition of train.
Because the safety of human at railway platform is a duty of railway department. And
Therefore For safety purpose there are many devices are adopted by railway, to control the
accidents at platform. This paper deals with some devices like gap filler plat fitted at
platform and controlled by special arrangement of link and mechanism with straight plate,
Doors fitted at the coach entry or exit point. This paper also deals with invention provides
safety gap filler which is provided on an edge of a railway platform which is adjacent to
tracks, So as to minimize a gap between the platform and a train. At Present there is no
such device is available which completely control accident at platform when train is at

EVALUATION OF CENTRIFUGAL BLOWER IMPELLER FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
Abstract: A blower is mechanical device used to maximize the volume flow rate in case
where a large volume of air is required in a specified area there are a wide range of
application for the centrifugal blower like in combustion chamber, in mines ventilation etc.
In present work we are taking centrifugal blower which is having smaller shape and is
easily available in market at very low price. The Impeller, blade, shaft and casing are
seperately modelled in CATIA V5R12 and are successfully assembled together to get the
final product. These are then imported to the computational fluid dynamics CFX
environment of ANSYS 14.0 workbench. The assigned material for the impeller is
aluminium and casing portion taken as air. The Impeller eye is taken as the inlet for
sucking air inside it and a rectangular duct is assigned as exit from which air flows radially
outward after passing through the impeller blades. It is observed that the pressure at inlet of
blower is slightly lesser than that of atmospheric pressure.
In this work a no. Of blade angles are taken into consideration for which different
pressure head and recirculation of air at the trailing edge of the blade is to be observed and
we are tried to get optimum blade angle at which the maximum pressure head and
minimum recirculation is achieved. It is also observed that by increasing the diameter as
well as the blade angles the pressure head is increasing respectively. The blade angle of 60
Degree is found as the optimum for the blower under observation.

LOWER EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE IN BS-VI VEHICLES
Abstract - Temperature of exhaust gas from tail pipe outlet at a certain distance away
should meet the safety standardsin BS6 vehicles.A new emission standard requirements for
heavy-duty trucks and buses, puts new demands on the amount of particulate matter and
nitrogen oxides that can be emitted. This led to that automotive OEMs has developed and
improved their after treatment systems. The new after treatment systems generates high
exhaust temperatures, and OEMs need to reduce these to create a safer environment
around the vehicle.
In thisstudy, we have started with a thorough feasibility study, where the current
exhaust systems and its components were studied. Solutions to lower exhaust
temperatures were studied, both in the automotive industry and in other fields. The
concepts that were developed would be analysed through digital simulations at Tata Motors
plants. A diesel engine and ground outlet exhaust systems were to be analysed.

―DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FINFET STRUCTURE‖
Kamlesh Deware,
Asst prof., EC/HOD, Mathuradevi Institute of Technology & Management, Indore
Abstract:- FINFET Technology is reviewed over conventional bulk MOSFET. FINFETs are
promising substitutes of MOSFET over 32nm technology, as short channel effects increase
issues below 32nm technology. The main draw back of using CMOS transistors are high
power consumption and high leakage current. Scaling causes severe Short Channel Effects
(SCE) which are difficult to suppress. As technology is scaled down, the importance of
leakage current and power analysis for VLSI design is increasing since Short-channel
effects cause an exponential increase in the leakage current and power dissipation. Multi-
gate MOSFET technologies mitigate these limitations by providing a stronger control over a
thin silicon body with multiple electrically coupled gates. Enormous progress has been
made to scale transistors to even smaller dimensions to obtain fast switching transistors, as
well as to reduce the power consumption. For the improvement of performance and power
in VLSI logic circuits, Conventional CMOS logic circuits can be easily implemented using
short gate or independent gate FINFET logic circuit designs. The main focus is done to
reduce power consumption, compact design and delay and differential linearity are also
reduced. This design work at low input voltage supply and give good linearity in output.

Pratibha Gupta,
Ass.prof., Humanity, MDGI, Indore
Abstract: - Historically, most students have been struggling with mathematics subject
which makes them wonder if they will ever apply the knowledge in real world life. Teachers
and parent admit when they have been asked that students have very few knowledge about
the relevance of mathematics in real life. That is why this paper is based on application of
maths in real life. In this paper the most common and essential applications of
mathematics in real life is discussed such as in financial management like spending,
investing and saving, home improvement, outdoor landscaping, Exercise, health & fitness,
probability, time management, measurement, and problem solving.
The reliability of any engineering system was analyzed by using probabilistic techniques.
This paper is empha size on the analysis of reliability measures of a single unit repairable
system. The system fails randomly, and then each time attended by a repairman and gets
repair. All failure times and repair times are assumed exponential distribution and general
distribution respectively. After each repair, the system regenerate and works like a new one.
The various reliability measures such as transition probability, mean sojourn time,
reliability, mean time to system failure, steady state availability are obtained using semi
Markov analysis and regenerative point techniques.

EVALUATION OF QUALITY PARAMETERS AND STANDARDIZATION TECHNIQUES FOR
FEW ENDANGERED MEDICINAL PLANTS OF MALWA REGION OF MADHYA PRADESH
Abstract - Madhya Pradesh is among the important mega biodiversity centers of the India
with nearly 45,000 known plant species and nearly 80% of the global population still
depends upon the medicinal plants for their health care as per WHO. Medicinal plants and
their preparations are used very often due to its low cast, easy availability, based on
generation to generation knowledge. However, Medicinal plants are associated with a
number of shortcomings viz., uniform efficacy and lack of appropriate quality control
measures at various stages of product development. The present paper highlights the
importance of quality parameters towards standardization and manufacturing of herbals for
India to emerge as a leader in global market of herbal products. There is urgent need for
establishing the quality parameters and standardization techniques of some endangered
medicinal herbs viz., Guitozia abyssinica, Diplocyclos palmatus, Calonyction muricatum,
Gloriosa superb, Sarcosteema acidum etc. The present investigation also highlights that
continuous efforts are taken by the research institute and industry in the field of herbal
research and also number of formulation are coming in the market. There is urgent need to
establish standardization of raw materials to obtaining botanical products.

Abstract: - The adoption of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) has been regarded as one of the
most important strategies to address the issues of energy dependence, air quality, and,
more recently, climate change. Despite decades of effort, we still face daunting challenges to
promote wider acceptance of AFVs by the general public. This paper compares the adoption
of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in automobile. Although natural gas is a fossil fuel, which
found in earth‘s crust. Natural gas is a mixture of various hydrocarbons such as (CH 4 about
75% to 95% & remaining is C2H6, C3H8, C4H10 extra).
LNG is produce by liquefaction process in which Natural gas cooled by
approximately -162° C to convert from gaseous(Natural gas)to liquefied form(LNG) and cut
1/600th volume from its original gaseous form. LNG is the same fuel such as CNG but it is
stored in cryogenic form. Liquefied Natural Gas occupies smaller volume as compared to
compressed natural gas (CNG). LNG offers the high energy density as compared to diesel,
gasoline and CNG fuels & decreasing refilling fuel frequency in the vehicle. It is the main
benefit to use the LNG as a fuel in transportation, also use of LNG fuel reduce the GVW of
vehicle by eliminating the number of heavy cylinders in case of CNG operated vehicle, which
is required to store the compressed natural gas (CNG) in vehicles.
In transportation system LNG as an emergent transport fuel when compared with
diesel and other alternate fuels such as CNG. Since LNG increase the driving range so it is
most suitable for heavy-duty vehicles.LNG is a medium to transporting the natural gas for a
long distance where pipe line not possible across oceans.

DESIGN CONFIGURATIONS, IMPROVEMENT METHODS AND APPLICATIONS OF
SOLAR AIR HEATER
Abstract - This article aims to present a review of the literature dealing with improvement
methods, design configurations and applications of different types of solar air heaters.
Different investigations have been made on SAHs either experimental or theoretical in order
to improve their performance. Different modifications on absorber plate have been made.
One of the important improving theories is using fins to increase the heat transfer area.
Various types of fins achieved enhancement in the performance such as longitudinal fins,
corrugated fins and fins attached with baffles. Also it is found that to improve both the heat
transfer and thermo-hydraulic performance of SAH, artificially roughened absorbers are
used. Using artificial roughness, the results showed good enhancement of both Nusselt
number and friction coefficient for a wide range of Reynolds number. Also in the view of
using heat storage materials, especially phase change materials, various types of packing
bed and selective coated absorbers give good improvement of the efficiency of Solar air
heaters. As a result of these improvements, solar air heaters became more popular in more
applications, with a good reduction in fuel consumption and costs of installation and
operation.

TO MAINTAIN POWER SYSTEM STABILITY BY USING PSS CONTROLLER
Abstract - One of the major problems in power system operation is related to small signal
instability caused by insufficient damping in the system. The most effective way of counting
this instability is to use auxiliary controllers called power stabilizer, to produce addition
damping of interconnected power system and particularly the deregulation of the industry,
difficulties related to low frequency oscillation have been widely reported together with
major incident. As the most economical damping controller ,power system stabilizer(PSS)
has been widely used to suppress the low frequency oscillation and enhance the system
dynamic stability .Traditional method for deterring PSS placement are based on analysis of
the interconnected system. Though the design of the PSS is based on a simplified single
machine infinite bus (SMIB Model) using firefly algorithm. MATLAB/SIMULINK model is
used to implement proposed SMIB PSS.The power system stabilizer can conquer the

Abstract - Nowadays many researchers and academician giving their attention towards
natural fibre as reinforcement for polymeric composite for using different applications in
mechanical engineering. Because natural fibre is eco-friendly in nature and less polluting
during production as compare to synthetic fibre. That is why this thesis also based on
natural fibre (sisal fibre). This thesis presents an experimental study on tribological
properties of developed sisal fibre reinforced polyester composite. Composites were
fabricated by compression moulding technique. Experiments were carried out using
Tagauchi L9 orthogonal array by consider the four design parameters which were sisal fibre
length, weight fraction of fibre, weight fraction of filler and wear test parameters (normal
load for two body abrasive and adhesive and impingement angle for erosive). Then all
experimental results were analysed using Taguchi optimization method. Experimental
results shows that optimal combination of design parameter for minimum erosive wear is
40mm fibre length, 25 wt% fibre loading, 4 wt% filler volume and 300 impingement angle,
for minimum two body abrasive wear is 40mm fibre length, 25 wt% fibre loading, 6 wt%
filler volume and 30 N normal load and for minimum adhesive wear is 40mm fibre length,
25 wt% fibre loading, 6 wt% filler volume and 10 N normal load.

POWER TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION LOSSES IN INDIA- A STUDY REPORT
Abstract — Energy is the basic necessity for overall development of a country. Energy
consumption per capita reflects the living standard of a country. But this energy must be
utilized efficiently for getting sustainable energy. Experience in many parts of the world
demonstrates that it is possible to reduce the T&D losses in a reasonably short period of
time and that such investments have a high internal rate of return. Overall T&D losses in
India is approximate 27% whereas in other countries like USA it is only 8%, Japan 7%,
Taiwan 9%, Korea 12.5%.India is the country having highest T&D losses in the world. So
there is a room for improvement in this area. Energy losses are increasing year by year in
states as well as in India as a whole. Energy losses reduction has been a challenging area
for Indian engineers but they could not found success because of mismanagement and
utilization of old and outdated technologies. This paper study report projects the area of
scope of energy losses reduction. Concept of Technical and Commercial loss, its possible
cause is discussed. Then analyzed the yearwise T & D losses and summaries the systematic
treatment utilizing the recent technologies. Energy conservation and good management in
distribution side that results the loss reduction and hence improvement of Indian economy
as well as reduction in consumer tariff that may bring the prosperity in India and reduce
the gap between generation and demand.

FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF NANOPARTICLES BASED TOPICAL GEL
FORMULATION OF PARACETAMOL
Abstract-
Objective: The objective of the present investigation is to formulate and evaluate
nanoparticles (NPs) based topical gel of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID)
paracetamol for the treatment of arthritis, temporary relief of fever, minor aches, and pains
which would attenuate the gastrointestinal related toxicities associated with oral
administration.
Methods: The nanoparticles were formulated by nanoprecipitation technique using 5%
native maize starch, Tween 80 and Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP) used as cross-linking
agent. The freeze dried nanoparticles were evaluated using FTIR, SEM and DLS studies. The
freeze dried drug loaded cross-linked starch nanoparticles were incorporated in carbopol
934 to disperse in small quantity of distilled water. Subsequently glycerin and
triethanolamine were added with stirring till the carbopol gel gets dispersed. The In-Vitro
drug release of the formulated gel was evaluated using Modified Franz diffusion cell
containing dialysis membrane and phosphate buffer having pH 7.4 as the receptor medium.
The permeation profiles were determined by plotting cumulative% drug release Vs time
(Zero order release), log cumulative % drug remaining Vs time (first order release),
cumulative % drug release Vs square root of time (Higuchi Model), log cumulative % drug
release Vs log time (Korsmeyer Peppas Model) and cube root % drug remaining Vs time
(Hixson Crowell Model).
Results: The Zeta value of NPs -42.87 indicated a stable formulation. It has been observed
high drug entrapment efficiency. SEM data revealed the surfaces of nanoparticles were
smooth and flaky like structure. FTIR results indicated no interaction among the drug and
the excipients. From the release kinetics data it was observed that the release of
paracetamol from the starch loaded nanoparticles exhibit anomalous (non-Fickian)
diffusion for Hixson Crowell Model, first order and Higuchi Model whereas it closely follows
zero order release and also highly correlated with Korsmeyer Peppas Model.
Conclusion: The research work concluded that the paracetamol loaded NPs based topical
gel formulation containing carbopol was successfully developed for topical application with
good permeation potentiality as evident from its in-vitro results.

AN INVESTIGATION TO THE BREACH TO INFORMATION SECURITY
Abstract:- Information technology in this professional world is creating a rather unique set
of issues that requires the selection of new moral choices on the part of society and has
generated special implications to those who breach the security. Technology itself is not the
only, nor necessarily the most responsible, cause of these issues. All questions arise
initially due to human interference. An issue is said to arise when one affect the working or
behavior of other in pursuit of its goals. The crucial point comes when one decides to
change / breach the present state of information security. It of course involves the usage of
information technology. Information security is nothing but the safeguards to the
information sharing over the internet between people. There are some disgruntled people
who breach the security and either destroy or steel the data of anyone not for the benefit of
themselves rather sometimes to create troubles in the working of others. This paper is
specially focusing upon identifying the factors which are responsible for breaching the
information security through information technology which indeed can be used for
protecting the information. The researchers have used structured questionnaire for
collection of data and SPSS software was used to analyze the data.

A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES OF STEGANOGRAPHY
Abstract - The art of storing the data has got much consideration in the ongoing years as
security of digital data has got a major concern in this age of internet. As sharing of
sensitive and important data through a typical communication channel has turned out to
be unavoidable, Steganography which is a part of concealing data has got a major
consideration. Nowadays we are enclosed by various communication forms, where
individuals of different types are transmitting data as honest as a entering credit card
number to an online-store and as treacherous as a terrorist to plan a hijack. Steganography
derives from the Greek word steganos, meaning covered or secret, and graphy (writing or
drawing) [1]. Steganography is a technique where data compression, data hypothesis,
spread spectrum, and cryptography advancements techniques are united to fulfill the
requirement for security on the Internet. This paper is aimed to analyze the different
procedures utilized in steganography and to distinguish zones in which this procedure can
be connected, with the goal that mankind can be profited.

FORMULATION AND EVALUTION OF IN-SITU GEL CONTAINING AMOXICILLIN
HYDROCHLORIDE IN THE TREATMENT OF PERIODONTITIS
Abstract - The main objective of the present study is to formulate & evaluation of
Amoxicillin Hydrochloride (0.1% w/v) in-situ gel in periodontal drug delivery systems. Many
people are having experience of dental issue and extreme dread is tooth misfortune. Thus
in-situ gelling framework was intended for the treatment of periodontal sicknesses. The
remedial adequacy of medication can be significantly enhanced by drawing out its contact
time. Formulations were developed by simple solution method. Each formulation was
characterized in terms of in gelling strength, viscosity, rheology, content uniformity, in vitro
drug release, and syringe ability. Drug release data from all formulations was fitted to
different kinetic models and the Korsemeyer-Peppas model was the best fit model.
Expanding the centralization of each polymeric segment fundamentally expanded
thickness, syringe ability, and time for half, 70%, and 90% medication discharge. In
conclusion, the formulations described offer a wide range of physical and drug release
characteristics. The formulation containing 0.5% w/v of gellan gum and 14% w/v of
pluronic F-127 exhibited superior physical characteristics. The formulation stored at 4˚C
before application, which is syringeable through 21 gauge needle. This formulation was
made to inject directly in to periodontal pocket where it immediately converts in to gel form
at body temperature.

Abstract - A fast dissolving drug delivery system can be defined as a dosage form for oral
administration, which when placed in mouth, rapidly disintegrates or dissolves and can be
swallowed in the form of liquid.
The aim of the present work is to formulate a tablet of Diclofenac Sodium and
Ketorolac which disintegrate and dissolve rapidly and give its rapid onset of action:
analgesic, antipyretic and anti inflammatory action. Diclofenac sodium is among the most
extensively used NSAIDs; employed in musculoskeletal complaints, especially arthritis.
Ketorolac is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) that exhibits analgesic activity
mediated by peripheral effects. Conventional pain killer tablets available in market are not
suitable where quick onset of action is required. Besides, the conventional tablets also show
poor patient compliance particularly by geriatric and pediatric patients and those who are
suffering from dysphasia, nausea and vomiting. Fast dissolving tablet (FDT) offer maximum
advantage for those patients‘ particularly pediatric and geriatric patients who are not able
to swallow traditional tablets and capsules. In present study, an attempt had been made to
formulate for FDT of Diclofenac Sodium and Ketorolac by using various superdisintigrant
like croscarmellose, sodium starch glycolate sodium and crosspovidone (polyplasdone XL)
followed by direct compression technique. The tablets were evaluated for weight variation,
hardness, friability, disintegration time, wetting time, in vitro dissolution studies and drug
content. It was concluded that the batch which was prepared by using combination of
crosspovidone and sodium starch glycolate as a superdisintigrant shows excellent
disintegration time, enhance dissolution rate, taste masking and hence lead to improve
efficacy and bioavaibility of drug.

TEXT SUMMARIZATION
Abstract - The Project ―Text Summarization‖ is the process of shortening a text document
with software, in order to create a summary with the major points of the original document.
Lexical Chaining is an important technique in natural language processing, many of
Lexalytics algorithms realy heavily on it.
Even if those sentences are not adjacent to each other in the text, they are lexically
related to each other and can thus be associated with each other. This is a really important
concept - if the nouns are related to each other, we can find that conceptual (lexical) chain
in the content, even when those sentences are separated by many other unrelated
sentences.

Abstract - The development of automobile vehicle requires more energy than available
because of energy shortage and the environmental crisis we need such system which are
used to generate electricity by converting waste mechanical energy in automotive vehicle.
Old commercial vehicles, such as BS-I, BS-II, buses, trucks and delivery vehicles, consume
significantly more energy than BS-III, BS-IV vehicles, since they have the characteristic of
frequent start/stop with high moment of inertia and drive at low speeds on designated city
routes. It is our requirement to make these vehicles more fuel efficient and environmentally
friendly. The new commercial vehicle is a promising solution to reduce emissions by
adopting sensor based technology, by using BS-IV level fuel and also equipped with braking
energy regeneration systems to recover the kinematic loss from frequent braking. This
review paper introduces regenerative braking system for heavy loaded vehicle which help us
to recover energy in the form of electricity to operate parking and braking lights. Without
mechanical connection involved to transfer energy within the power train, greater power
train efficiency can be achieved. By adopting this system we save fuel consumption and it
also help us to recover waste energy in the form of kinetic energy produce due to braking.

RHIZOSPHERE EFFECT ON THE AVAILABILITY OF PHOSPHORUS TO THE CROPS
Abstract - Rhizosphere was described for the first time by Lorenz Hiltner in 1904. It varies
with the plant species and the soil, generally considered at 2 mm distance from the root
surface. Researchers have shown that the influence can be up to 10 mm. Rhizosphere
affects the nutrient availability to crops as well as microbial population in soil. The
interaction between plant nutrients in soil and plant exudates modifies the micro climate of
the rhizosphere. The activity of plant roots has an impact on the physicochemical
conditions and the biological activity in the surrounding rhizosphere compartment and vice
versa. The physical-chemical conditions that predominant in the rhizosphere are useful to
understand the role that plays microorganisms, particularly bacteria on soil nutrient
availability. The rhizosphere pH is usually lower than the bulk soil in 1-2 units.
Phosphorus (P) is essential to all known life forms because it is a key element in
many physiological and biochemical processes. Phosphorus (P) is the second most
abundant macronutrient in plants after nitrogen. It is low availability in soil due to slow
diffusion and high fixation can be one of the major limiting factors for plant growth.
Inorganic P constitutes a dominant part of total P and is considered to be the major
contributor of P to the growing plants. All forms exist in soil but in general in acid soil AI-P
and Fe-P are the dominant forms of inorganic-P whereas in neutral, alkaline and calcareous
soil Ca-P is the dominant part of inorganic P fractions.
In recent years, great attention has been dedicated to study the role that soil
microorganism‘s play in the dynamics of phosphate (P), particularly those able to solubilize
insoluble P forms. . Utilization of microorganisms to increase the availability of P in soil
therefore is an attractive proposition for developing a more sustainable agriculture. An
effective mechanism of plant roots to increase soil P availability in neutral or alkaline soils
is to decrease the pH at the root-soil interface and thereby mobilize sparingly soluble
calcium phosphates
P in soil exists predominantly in inorganic fractions that are either adsorbed to soil
mineral surfaces or occur as sparingly available precipitates. Plants capable of secreting
large amounts of organic acids from their roots play an important role, as solubilisation of

SUPER DMU REVIEW: PRODUCT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE
OPTIMIZATION
Abstract- In the current volatile market, customers are constantly changing demands
leading many automobile companies to reduce number of platforms and developing variable
design concepts like standardization, modularity, mutability, etc. to reduce development
time and cost. Factors including Product quality, cost and time to market play major role in
achieving it. Among these, Product quality is very critical and has a long lasting effect in
customer mind. New product development managed by partly and complete DMU review
results in better products, by delivering more robust products at comparatively lower
development cost & time. In this paper we have emphasised the importance and
implementation of DMU review at earliest level of product development to ensure error free
production and minimum development cost and time. Mainly, we have focused on the
effects on DMU review on decreasing design finalization time & development and tooling
cost in product development cycle. A newer and more diverse concept in the DMU modelling
and review, the super DMU concept has been conceived into the product development and
management to minimize the multiple product variants DMU and reduced the overall
product development life cycle time. Extension of this concept into the automobile domain
has made the manufactures able to manage a wide variety of vehicles depending on design
parameters. A detailed case study has been performed at Tata Motors Ltd. to further
strengthen the necessity & implementation of super DMU review & management.

Abstract -.The ability of heat is to change or modify the physical and mechanical
characteristics of metals is an important aspect of manufacturing. The heat treatment
processes is generally adapted to the processing of carbon steels in the production field. The
content of carbon in mild steel is less than 0.3% and it requires sufficient hardness on
surface of a component. Because of the lack of carbon, the metals to be processed under
the carburizing Process. The carburizing process is diffuses carbon in to the surface of heat
treated components in an atmosphere controlled furnace. The purpose of carburizing is to
increases the surface carbon content, on the surface region or case depth/layer. Fick‘s law
describes the instantaneous flow of diffusing atoms in the case layer. This case depth is
controlled by the diffusion of carbon atoms through the surface layers of the work piece and
achieves maximum hardness during subsequent quench hardening in the surface
hardening. The objective is to improve the surface properties of a component, mainly in the
hardness on the surface. These surface/case hardening operations are quite important also
to static and dynamic strength with wear and seizure properties. In this article focused to
an evaluation of surface hardening and the effects of diffusion layer formation during the
heat treatment process are to be studied and analyzed.

BIG DATA ANALYSIS WITH CLUSTERING METHODS
Abstract- Today‘s age is the age of data. Nowadays the data is being produced at a
tremendous rate. In order to make use of this large-scale data and extract useful
knowledge, researchers in machine learning and data mining communities are faced with
numerous challenges. Big Data is usually defined by three characteristics called 3Vs
(Volume, Velocity and Variety).
Clustering algorithms have emerged as an alternative powerful meta-learning tool to
accurately analyze the massive volume of data generated by modern applications. In
particular, their main goal is to categorize data into clusters such that objects are grouped
in the same cluster when they are similar according to specific metrics. There is a vast body
of knowledge in the area of clustering and there has been attempts to analyze and
categorize them for a larger number of applications. However, one of the major issues in
using clustering algorithms for big data that causes confusion amongst practitioners is the
lack of consensus in the definition of their properties as well as a lack of formal
categorization. With the intention of alleviating these problems, this paper introduces
concepts and algorithms related to clustering, a concise survey of existing (clustering)
algorithms as well as providing a comparison, both from a theoretical and an empirical
perspective. From a theoretical perspective, we developed a categorizing framework based
on the main properties pointed out in previous studies.
Index Terms - Clustering algorithms, cluster, big data.
Abstract - Sustained release drug delivery has become the standards in the modern
pharmaceutical design and intensive research for achieving better drug product
effectiveness, reliability and safety. Sustained release drug delivery (SRDD) medication will
continue to account for the largest share (up to 80%) of drug delivery systems. The
Sustained tablet preparation appears to be most attractive approach for the process
development and scale-up point of view. Sustained release systems include any drug
delivery system that "achieves slow release of drug over an extended period of time". If
sustain release system is successful in maintaining constant drug levels in the target tissue
or cells, it is considered a controlled release system. A calcium channel blocker, Diltiazem
hydrochloride has found its applicability in cardiovascular diseases advised to take the long
term treatment of cardiovascular medicaments like anti-anginals, anti-hypertensives, etc.
The calcium channel blockers are utilized as the potential agents for the treatment of these
diseases. They are considered as a slow calcium channel blockers. The wet granulation
method was adopted for the preparation of sustained release tablets with the 10mm
punches and targeted weight of 350mg. HPMC is primarily used as a tablet binder, in film-
coating, and as a Sustained for use in extended-release tablet formulations. The results
revealed that formulations with the drug polymer ratio 1.0:0.5 (F1, F4 and F6) showed
higher drug release rates in the range of 94.74 when compared 1.0:1.0 ratio (F2, F5 and F6)
which showed a drug release rates from 93.69 and which have displayed drug release rates
in the range of 92.64 over a period of 12 hours. This indicates that as the polymer
concentration increased, the drug release rate was found to be retarded.

the unplanned development and urbanization, the ponds of this city are struggling for their
existence. In spite of the global alarm for restoration of the water bodies, the ponds in the
city are facing neglectance. For the study period eight ponds were selected. The physico-
chemical parameters of the water sampled in July 2009 from eight ponds such as pH
ranged from 6.59 to 7.46, Turbidity 6.07 NTU to 8.33 NTU, Conductivity 12.30 ms/cm to
16.82 ms/cm, D.O. 3.78 mg/l to 6.17 mg/l, B.O.D.3.72 mg/l to 6.43 mg/l . Residual
chlorine was detected only in pond A(1.07mg/l), pond C(1.12mg/l) and Pond E(1.02 mg/l).
Free CO2 was found between 9.2 mg/l to 19.02 mg/l, TS, TDS an chlorides were found
much beyond the permissible levels. Alkanity ranges between 202.55 mg/l to 309.07 mg/l,
Acidity between 10.75 mg/l to 14.048 mg/l , Total Hardness between 244.53 mg/l to
254.68 mg/l. Prominent sources of pollution are the domestic sewage, Kitchen flow and
street runoff etc. In addition, solid waste and garbage tied in polythene bags are recorded
along the banks and also floating on the water surface.

"EFFECT OF RESIDENTIAL ENVIRONMENT ON CULTURAL CAPITAL BENEFITS
AMONGST EASTERN PROVINCE TRIBAL STUDENTS"
Middle-class families know the value of networking and exposing their children to other
children of well connected parents. Thus, these children are likely to have more exposure to
opportunities, which often result in an increased number of life chances.
Children who lack financial resources also often lack the financial capital necessary
to generate the other important capital, leaving them susceptible to a life of continued
poverty because of the seeming inescapable cycle of social reproduction.

―MANAGEMENT‖ BEHIND A HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: A REVIEW
Abstract: Although much research has examined human resource management (HRM),
managers‘ roles in HRM seem to have been ancillary to this area of research. That is, HRM
theory and research largely has advanced with a focus on policies, practices, systems, and
their implementation and effectiveness, with less attention focused on the managers
responsible for the design, adoption, enactment, and implementation of HRM strategy and
practice. The purpose of this review is to examine extant research to determine the state of
knowledge of the role of managers across organizational hierarchy in HRM. Thus, we review
empirical literature for studies that include aspects of the impact lower-to-middle
managers, human resource managers, top management teams, CEOs, and boards of
directors have on HRM content, process, and outcomes. On the basis of the findings of this
systematic, multilevel review, we discuss avenues for future research at each specific
manager‘s level, as well as general opportunities and challenges for research on managers‘
roles in HRM across all hierarchical levels.

COMPARISION ANALYSIS OF CAREER SUCCESS IN OBJECTIVE AND SUBJECTIVE
PERSPECTIVE
This review examines competing perspectives relating to (a) the range and prevalence of
different theoretical approaches to the study of career success and (b) the need for a
theoretically differentiated understanding of the antecedents of objective career success
(OCS) versus subjective career success (SCS). Furthermore, the review complements the
assumption that OCS and SCS are only ultimate outcomes of careers, proposing instead
that career success also acts as an antecedent to other career and life outcomes. Against
the backdrop of an organizing resource management framework, we present and critically
evaluate the results of a systematic analysis of the theoretical approaches used to
empirically study the antecedents of OCS and SCS. Moreover, past research started to
adopt different theoretical approaches when predicting OCS (e.g., approaches focusing on
personal resources, such as human capital or [competitive] performance) versus SCS (e.g.,
approaches focusing on personal key resources, such as stable traits). Several types of
career success outcomes were identified: withdrawal, career attitudes, health and well-
being, reactions from the (work) environment, and self-concept. On the basis of these
findings, we provide recommendations for how future research can make sense of the
theoretical heterogeneity in career success research, how research on antecedents and
outcomes can better account for the OCS/SCS distinction, and how future research can
more rigorously integrate research on antecedents and outcomes of career success.

SOCIAL MARKETING STRATEGIES OF DIFFERENT COMPANIES IN INDIA
Abstract- Social Marketing, being a social and managerial process, it must have social
environmental approach, unfortunately very few business organisations cared for it. Social
Marketing came into being as a separate discipline in the 1970s as a result of the
acceptance of environmental approach by the Western countries. Now days, social
marketing principles are being used in developing countries in areas such as health
promotion, population control environment conservation, economic development and
human rights. Social Marketing is not a new phenomenon as its roots can be seen in
development strategies, social reform campaigns in olden days. In ancient Greece and Rome
anti-slavery campaigns were launched. During industrial revolution period, campaigns were
launched to grant voting rights to woman and abolition of child labour in Great Britain.
Notable social reforms movements, such as, abolition of sati (Self-immolation) system,
abolition untouchability, prevention of child marriages, woman education etc. were
successfully organised during Pee-independence era in India.
Abstract - The introduction of GST in the Indian economy carries its huge significant in
both ways, as a transformation of the law and making the whole country under the basket
of one taxation system. Its immediate effect was to make the various taxes combine under
the one and removes the cascading effect of the taxes on a single product. By amalgamating
centre and State charges into a solitary duty, it mitigates the falling or two fold tax
collection significantly and make ready for a typical national market. From the buyer
perspective, the greatest favorable position is regarding a decrease in the general taxation
rate on products, which was assessed to be near 28%-30%. This paper shows the

SPIRAL BEVEL GEAR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT -GENERATION AND SIMULATION
OF MESHING AND LOADED TOOTH CONTACT ANALYSIS (TCA)
Abstract- The loaded tooth contact analysis (LTCA) plays vital part in designing the spiral
bevel gear. The tooth edge contact of spiral bevel gears in operating is unavoidable,
especially when under bearing loads. But the tooth edge contact is frequently ignored which
makes the analyzed results deviate from the real operating conditions. An accurate and
convenient edge tooth contact analysis technique of spiral bevel gears is developed, by
which the contact points on tooth edges can be determined. Further, the main directions
between two tooth surfaces on every edge contact point, that is, the possible contact point
pairs, are found by a numerical method. Finally, the tooth edge contact problem is resolved
successfully. The compared and analyzed results show that the tooth edge contact has
considerable influences on the strength and dynamics behaviors of spiral bevel gears, and a
complete engagement course under load can be obtained.

ANTI-ALZHEIMER ACTIVITY OF HELIANTUSANNUS IN STREPTOZOTOCIN INDUCED
AMNESIC RATS
Abstract- The present study was to evaluate the Anti-Alzheimer activity of Helianthus
annus seeds extract with special emphasis on biochemical markers of brain in
streptozotocin (STZ) induced amnesia. STZ (originally identified as an antibiotic) is a
compound of glucosamine-nitrosourea. STZ is toxic to the pancreatic beta cells and is
generally transported through the glucose transporter 2 ( GLUT2) and is commonly used to
induce experimental diabetes in animals. The administration of STZ through a route such
as intracerebroventricular or intraperitoneal (i.p) injection produces a reduction in cognition
and an increase in the aggregated fragments of the brain of Aβ, total deposits of protein tau
and Aβ. These changes were accompanied by a decrease in the alpha / beta ratio of
glycogen synthase kinase (GSK-3) (phosphorylated / total) in the brain. The extract of
Helianthus annus seed extract was administered in two doses (100 and 200 mg/kg) for 7
days. Piracetam (120 mg/kg) was used as a standard agent. Orally supplementation of
Helianthus annus seedsextract showed significant elevated brain antioxidant enzymes CAT

FIXED POINT THEOREM IN CORRELATION WITH THEAPPLICATION OF BANACH
CONTRACTION PRINCIPLE

Abstract - Present paper is based on a real-world user interface design helps in
observation to view, this dissimilarity that allows us to express our iterative algorithm with
a ―for loop‖ rather than a ―while loop‖,. Suppose we take = 10−m in our stopping rule
dissimilarity1. What we see is that the growth of N with m is a constant plus m/|log (K)|,
or in other words, to get one more decimal digit of precision we have to do (roughly)
1/|log(K)| more iteration steps. Stated a little differently, if we need N iterative steps to get
m decimal digits of precision, then we need another N to double the precision to 2m
digits2.The Polish mathematician Stefan Banach established a remarkable fixed point
theorem known as the ―Banach Contraction Principle‖ (BCP) which is one of the most
important results of analysis and considered as the main source of metric fixed point
theory3. It is the most widely applied fixed point result in many branches of mathematics
because it requires the structure of complete metric space with contractive condition on the
map which is easy to test in this setting. The BCP has been generalized in many different
directions4.

MEDICAL IMAGE ENHANCEMENT BY DC COEFFICIENTS SCALING IN LAB-DCT
DOMAIN
Abstract-- Medical images are usually captured from multiple camera modules and it is
called as multimodal images. Extracting features from these images is a challenging task.
These captured medical images usually suffer from poor contrast and these images are not
very clear. Hence medical image does not have sufficient information to diagnose disease of
patient‘s easily. Thus it is essential to improve the contrast for the better image quality
before being analysed and diagnosed. Therefore to preserve the colour content of medical
images a modified method of DC coefficient scaling in the compressed DCT domain is used
to enhance the contrast of these images for better entropy and brightness performance the
DC coefficient of L component is scaled in transformed CIE-Lab colour space.

Abstract- These days‘ women play the leading role in developing the society. A better
Society cannot be shaped without any active involvement of women. The women enjoy her
rights and independency in developed world. Although the word, women empowerment
become a buzzword in the contemporary society because women already proved her ability
in each vigorous field. But Indian women do not properly use their rights and neither takes
any types of decision indecently due to lack economic dependent on others. However, in
order to achieve equal status in the society women need to be empowering economically.
The economic empowerment is thought to allow poor people to think beyond daily survival
and exercise their life choices. Economic empowerment is an inclusive phenomenon that
encouraging capability for self-sufficiency. The financial empowerment also increases
women‘s excess to economic resources and opportunities including job, financial services,
property and other productive asset, skill development and market information. Women‘s
empowerment is a prerequisite for sustainable development. However, for achieving
women‘s economic empowerment requires more equitable access to assets, employment
opportunities and government appropriate policy. Innovative approaches are to scale up

EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS ON PROPERTIES OF STEEL FIBRE REINFORCED
CONCRETE
Abstract - The use of Steel Fibre Reinforced composites for infrastructure applications is
becoming more popular with the introduction of new high performance materials. Steel
Fibre Reinforced composites are introduced to enhance the overall performance of
structures, such as composite bridge decks, beams, bearing walls, etc. Concrete is the most
used construction material possessing many desirable properties like high compressive
strength and durability. At the same time, concrete has some disadvantages. Plain concrete
has very low tensile strength and low ductility. Plain concrete does not offers much
resistance against cracking. The development of micro cracks limits its tensile strength at
initially, these cracks do not harm too much, but on propagation the magnitude of loss and
severity of damage will be more. Concrete with brittle nature and low tensile strength is
more susceptible to fracture. These problems can be overcome by reinforcing concrete with
fibres. The fibre reinforced concrete has been considered as bone in construction since it is
a better option because of which the cracks can be effectively arrested. Fibre reinforced
concrete is a composite material which consisting of cement mortar with random
distribution of small fibres with high tensile strength. This review from the past experiences
presents the results of experimental and analytical studies done on composite material
made of Fibre reinforced concrete overlaid on Conventional Reinforcement with Concrete.
Results show that the composite structures possess good tensile strength, flexural strength,
cracking strength and ultimate capacity..

Abstract- Density is a basic property of a material that is equal to the objects mass divided
by its volume. However the determination of an accurate density for some rock materials
can difficult. This difficulty comes from many sources such as irregular volume, porosity,
moisture content of the material, permeability of the material and the lack of a clear
definition of density itself. This research investigated a common industry method used to
determine the bulk density of rock core samples typically encountered in the geotechnical
investigations. The main problem in determining the bulk density of rock core is obtaining
an accurate estimate of the rock core’s total volume. The research investigated four
common techniques used to measuring the bulk density of materials. The research also
investigated the issue of moisture saturation into the rock core. This is an important
parameter in the portioning of concrete mixes. This density is known as the saturated-
surface-dry density.
Four different methods commonly used in the aggregate and mining industries to
determine the bulk density of materials were examined. These methods were the caliper
method, instantaneous water immersion method, wax immersion method, and wax-shrink
wrap immersion. Of the four methods tested the wax-immersion method was determined to
be the most accurate method. This was due to the liquid waxes ability to closely mold into
the surface pore of the sample which gives the most accurate estimate of the volume of the
sample.

IMPACT OF SHOPPING MALLS ON SMALL RETAILERS – AN EMPIRICAL STUDY
Dr.Rekha Lakhotia
Associate Professor, IPS Academy, Indore
Abstract - The retailing sector in India has undergone significant transformation in the past
10 years. This study aims to determine the mall criteria that are the most crucial for the
youth market by determining the winning brand in comparison to other offerings to
understand what is required to gain a competitive advantage and to differentiate a mall
from its rivals. The survey was administered using the mall intercept method to reduce
sample bias. The study identifies that the criteria that have the highest impact on the mall
preferences of young people are the mall campaigns for loyal customers; the traffic in the
mall locality and the mall’s parking facilities; the mall’s facilities for disabled people; the
quality of the mall locality; and the quality of the people visiting the mall. The study reveals
that a mall’s physical features, its facilities and the criteria related to employees have a very
low impact on the mall choices of young people. The study further finds that the youth
market has very low satisfaction levels for all of the identified criteria. This study reveals
that this macro accessibility criterion is less relevant for the youth market than for the
general population. Originality/value despite the importance of this market, there is
insufficient research on the shopping behaviour of young people. They have a considerable
impact on the purchasing decisions of their families, significant disposable income and
constitute the future market for the sector. This study uniquely enables the sequential
ordering of customers’ decision-making criteria and determines the effectiveness or impact
of these criteria in the mall sector.

Abstract:- Drawing on the principles of upper echelons theory and team leadership
research and using 101 subsidiary top management teams (TMTs), our study revealed that
subsidiary CEO transforma¬tional leadership that was focused evenly on every TMT
member increased team effectiveness and firm performance, whereas leadership that
differentiated among individual members decreased both outcomes. By differentiating the
amount of individual consideration and intel¬lectual stimulation across TMT members,
CEOs unintentionally disrupted the team’s dynamics (team potency), ultimately reducing
team effectiveness and subsidiary firm performance ratings. Furthermore, CEO gender and
moral inconsistency across executives served as moderators of the detrimental effects of
differentiated leadership on the outcomes. The negative effect of dif¬ferentiated leadership
behavior was stronger among female CEOs and those who failed to con¬sistently exhibit
moral behaviors that might justify differentiation in transformational leadership.

DESIGN AND DEVELOP OF PULSATILE DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR
CHRONOTHERAPEUTIC RELEASE OF TRANDOLAPRIL
Abstract- The aim of the study was to design and develop pulsatile drug delivery system of
Trandolapril. Plasma nor epinephrine level and plasma renin activity are elevated in the
morning, both hormones have potential to induce coronary vasoconstriction, therefore, we
can achieve the peak of plasma drug concentration at morning time and control at
morning spate of B.P. compliances. The rapid release of the drug after a lag time consistent
with the requirement for chronotherapeutics was achieved with developed formulation F-8
(swellable polymer, xanthan gum,) which show lag time of 4 hr. During the lag time, only 25
% drug released following rapid release (99% ± 83 % in 7 hr.) of the drug was observed. The
ex-vivo absorption study conducted using everted chicken intestinal segment indicated a
delay in absorption of the drug. Thus this approach can provide a useful means for timed
release of Trandolapril and may be better helpful for patients with morning spate of BP.

below the earth surface. Then air is passed through it which then gets cooled to 20℃ which
is the temperature down there. This cooled air is then circulated to the area to be cooled.

Abstract- The paper titled “A study on work life balance of women employees sector
ineducation sector of Uttar Pradesh”.Work-life Balance (WLB) is not a new concept. The
change in the pattern of work and the concept of the workplace after the industrial
revolution in the second half of the 1 8th century gave a new dimension to the concept of
WLB. With improved education and employment opportunities today, most homes are ones
in which both parents work because of the necessity and the desire to augment incomes.
The need to congenial conditions in which employees can balance work with their personal
desires became a factor that companies had to take note of both to retain them as well as to
improve productivity. However, it is not easy to find many references to Work-Life Balance
policies and issues in India. It is indeed hurting to see a majority of Indian companies still
wedded to the old style presenter‟s philosophy instead of offering managers opportunities to
strike a healthy Work-Life Balance. Work-life balance is about the interaction between paid
work and other activities, including unpaid work in families and the community, leisure,
and personal development.

FEMALE PORTRAYAL IN MEDIA
Hemangini Ameta
Department of Mass Communication,
Jyoti Vidyapeeth Women‟s University, Jaipur, India
Abstract: - Many influences on how we view men and women, media are the most pervasive
and one of the most powerful. Woven throughout our daily lives, media insinuate their
messages into our consciousness at every turn. All forms of media communicate images of
the sexes, many of which perpetuate unrealistic, stereotypical, and limiting perceptions.
Three themes describe how media represent gender. First, women are underrepresented,
which falsely implies that men are the cultural standard and women are unimportant or
invisible. Second, men and women are portrayed in stereotypical ways that reflect and
sustain socially endorsed views of gender. Third, depictions of relationships between men
and women emphasize traditional roles and normalize violence against women. We will
consider each of these themes in this section. A primary way in which media distort reality
is in under representing women. Whether it is prime-time television, in which there are
three times as many white men as women or children‟s programming, in which males
outnumber females by two to one, or newscasts, in which women make up 1 6% of news-
casters and in which stories about men are included 1 0 times more often than ones about
women, media misrepresent actual proportions of men and women in the population. This
constant distortion tempts us to believe that there really are more men than women and,
further, that men are the cultural standard.

POWER PLANT USAGE OF NATURAL GAS AS CLEAN FUEL IN COMPARISON OF COAL
Anirudh Singh,
Research Scholar, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women‟s University, Jaipur
Introduction - The factors are creating optimism in India‟s Natural gas sector. India as a
significant natural gas consumer Natural gas prices have fallen in recent years because of
the stagnant economy, weakened demand for electricity. This has led to reduction in coal-
fired electricity generation, with some of coal-fired generation being replaced by natural gas
fired generation. Low natural gas prices and static coal prices have created an opportunity
for power producers to switch from coal-fired to underutilized natural gas-fired power
plants. In addition, stringent environmental regulations will require many coal-fired units to
be closed. The selection of the most advantageous option is influenced by factors such as
performance, capital cost, operating cost and emission control requirements.

PERCEPTION OF UNDERGRADUATE MEDICAL STUDENTS TOWARDS STUDENT-
INITIATED TEACHING LEARNING TECHNIQUES: SYMPOSIUM & STUDENTS’ CORNER
Abstract - Medical education has undergone a considerable change in the last few decades,
with more focus now on interactive techniques which are centered on students. We
conducted a study to evaluate perception of undergraduate medical students towards two
student-initiated teaching learning methods namely, symposium and students‟ corner. 180
second year MBBS students studying in Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai were divided in
to two groups: half of them were told to present symposium on different pharmacology
topics in front of their peers and other half were told to write short interesting articles or
puzzles on pre-allotted topics which were displayed on a dedicated notice board. Students
were free to approach teachers in case of any difficulty. At the end of the academic year,
perceptions of students were taken using a pre-validated questionnaire. Comparatively
more students favored symposium than students‟ corner for improved understanding
(77.4% vs 67.46%), acquiring knowledge helpful for clinical applications (73.14% vs.
59.28%) and overall satisfaction with the technique (74.58% vs 63.91%). Best qualities of
symposium mentioned were interactive nature, improved understanding, increased
confidence for public speaking etc and for students‟ corner, they were better understanding,
increased self learning, encouraged creativity etc. Few things were not appreciated like fast/
unclear speech, lack of doubt solving, irrelevant information etc for symposium and lack of
space, monotonous nature of activity, long articles etc. in case of students‟ corner activity.
Majority students (> 60%) said that these activities should be continued in the future.
Student initiated teaching learning methods can be helpful by promoting active
participation of students and also by allowing them to take more responsibility for their own
learning.
