I have been appointed as an Intern in Gold loan department. My work is to interact with the
customer and tell them about basic need of gold loan marketing . In the Dialabank we interact
with customer and asked them How to Get Gold loan. I was a part of Gold Loan Department
Team and my responsibilities is to attract the customer and generate the leads for the company
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain good relationship with clients so that the business can maximize the value of
those relationship.
Participate in one to one meeting with clients to explain services in an effort to guide
their choices.
Understand the problem and challenges of clients and identify ways the business could
Provide excellent service in order to maintain a positive reputation for the business.
Day 1 :
Induction:
At very first day of my joining. I was introduced by the staff and employee of the company
like what I have to do, how to do and also introduced with my rules and responsibilities, terms
They had given basic overview and Introduction about the company and have been told
I have been told about how my work will contribute to the business done by DialaBank and
how my work can help the company to gain competitive advantage in the market.
Day 2-5 :
I have been allotted my Project Title. My gold loan executives give me a brief note on Gold
Loan segments. They basically deal with 3 banks “HDFC Bank ,YES Bank and ICICI Bank”.
The Banks do not give gold loan on “Solitaire, Gold Coins , Mangalsutar, Gold Biscuits and
Single Earring” . And also do not give gold loan to Police and Jewelers. They do gold loan in
3 segments:
Term Loan
EMI
On day 3 I have been trained how to call customer. And how to generate the leads. Also share
the interest rate that have been charge on the loan requirement. I have to only deal with
HDFC Bank

On day 4 and day 5 I start calling to customer and collect information about their requirement
and call them and give all necessary information about gold loan. My main focus is to
convince the customer to take gold loan from HDFC Bank and send him/her to the bank for
further process.
Day 6-10:
On day 6 I act as a relationship manager and I asked customer all their requirement related to
Gold loan. I asked the customer about their choice and tell them about which gold segment is
On day 7 I interact with banker over call and send them the details of customer by mail and
Day 11-15:
On day 11 I can maintain a good relationship with all the team member in the company.
Through these days I can handle the customer call and also manage the relationship with the
customer. On day 15 I do my first disbursal of Rs.14000 client name “Manush Paul” from
Kolkata.
Day 16-20:
On the day 16 I can continue with my work and deal in all segment of gold loan and try to
increase my work and satisfy customer need. My senior manager allotted me a state “Punjab”
On day 20 I can handle all the work properly and fulfill the requirement of customer.
Day 21-30
In one month in can finished with the sale of 50Lakhs in the gold loan marketing team. And

It is difficult to maintain good relationship with the banker. Because nature is different
of all person.

As per my guide Mr Ashok Shira can appreciate my work in front of CEO Mr. Gaurav
khurana.
And also give me a direction how I can do much better in my work progress.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
During this internship periods of 45 days I had learned lots of aspects related to the
gold loan.
Take experience from my guide how I preform more better and understand the concept.
For diala bank I can give the sale more and more so that company earn profit
