Augusteener-Paulinian Theory of Self

This theory was named after the foundation of myself which is being part of the
Augusteener-Paulinians. Augusteener-Paulinians are the students handled by the St. Paul of
Chartres sisters and the Parish Director of St. Augustine Cathedral in Iba, Zambales. They molded
me from the day I entered school up to present that I’m already in college. The knowledge they
imparted to me are very dear and important to me because it became the basis of my renewed self.

Augusteener-Paulinian theory of self, advocates an understanding of the self as being

centered on the different neural connectivity from person to person. This connection provides the
basis for the individuality of the self. This connectivity is also as sensory and emotional systems
can be modified by experience. Thus, the question arises on how a reasonably stable personality
is maintained from day to day.

Augusteener-Paulinian theory of self uses seven principles that capture the interaction
between sensory receptors, neural systems, emotional systems and the environment that ultimately
culminate in the creation of personality and the self.

Augusteener-Paulinian theory of self, defines the concept of “self” as “something that

unites all my diverse sensory impressions and memories, claims to be ‘in charge’ of my life, makes
choices and seems to endure as a single entity in space and time.”
