District Magistrate, Balangir where the above members were present. At the outset General Manager, DIC Balangir welcomed the Addl. District Magistrate as well as the other members present and briefed about the purpose of Udyam samagam. 1. It was discussed regarding date and venue of holding udyam samagam and tentatively fixed to hold the same on 5'" and 6 December 2019 at Kosal Kala Mandal, Balangir. 2. Members present from different line department were requested to identify and intimate name of resource person so that they will deliver speech and participate in seminar and panel discussion. 3. The committee discussed on focus sector of the district on industries. It was decided to make Agri and Food processing industry as focus sector during udyam samagam. 4, It was discussed to organize an exhibition consisting 40/50 stalls. General Manager DIC was requested to look for good participation to make the exhibition success. General Manager opined that some stall may be utilized for exhibiting Handicraft product so that participation will be good.5, It was decided to invite existing industries including Ordinance Factory Badmal, Powemex Steel Titilagarh, Premier Depot & Distribution Chormara and also Industries association OASME, Balangir. 6. It was decided to conduct essay and debate competition in leading colleges on subject- Development of MSME in Blangir district. 7. It was discussed and decided to form a committee consisting GM DIC, CTO and DH IDCO for monitoring all works relating to Exhibition stall, Seminar hall etc. as well as publicity and other arrangements. It was decided to convene 2 meeting during last week of October 2019 for further discussion. The meeting was ended with a vote of thanks to the member and participants. Sd/- Addl.
