June, 2019 OFFICE MEMORANDUM Subject:- Tentative Training Calendar for Session Aug 2019 and July 2020. In continuation to the previous training calendar issue vide this office letter no. The training period includes all the Gazetted holidays declared under State/Govt of India. The working days in ITIs (ie. 05 day/06 days in a week) has to be decided by the concerned State directorate and by DGT in NSTIs. The syllabus / curriculum of training should be completed in above mentioned number of weeks and if required, extra working days / Saturday may be utilized. Any Project work and revision period mentioned in the syllabus/eurriculum should be completed during above mentioned training weeks itself. Supplementary exams of theoretical subjects like Trade theory, Workshop Cal. & Science and Employability Skill for ex/failed trainees of Semester, Dual and annual Cont.. page 22 exam system may be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and Practical & Engg. Drawing will be conducted as per prevailing practice in the month of February, May, August and November every year immediately after the declaration of result of annual exams. The conduct of CBT exam may impact the training for not more than 06 day so its exact dates are not scheduled and may be conducted during within training weeks.
