1. Region/Language Selection
• Available in multiple languages and global regions.
• Dynamic Search will automatically assign your region based upon your IP address.
• To change your region or language, click the “Viewing…..” which can be found in the dark blue ribbon at
the top of the page. This opens a pop-up window. Check the “Remember this choice” to view your
preferred region and language every time.

2. Log-in for Registered Users
• If you are a registered user, log-in to display additional functionality.
• Your Username and “Logout” will be visible in the dark blue ribbon when you are signed in.
• See Section 11 for added functionality that is available to registered users.
• Classic DYNAMIC users (US/Canada and Latin America) can log-in to DYNAMIC Search first and will
automatically be signed-in to Classic DYNAMIC by selecting the Classic DYNAMIC link.

3. Primary Search Bar
• Single-line, smart-search entry (think Google Search) with type-ahead function.

 • Search for Donaldson parts, cross reference parts, application make/model, or general terms.

• Search for multiple Donaldson parts or cross references (up to 15) by separating part numbers with
commas.












• Use * or % as a wildcard if you don’t know the entire part number.
• Wildcard symbols can be used at the beginning, middle, or end of a search.








4. Search Bar Type Ahead Feature
• Dynamic Search offers alternatives which match the initial characters you enter. At any point, you can
mouse over and select from the drop down that appears.

5. Search Results: Donaldson Parts, Cross-Reference Parts, and Application Parts
• The system automatically executes three different searches. Click on each tab to see relevant results.
• In this example, there is one Donaldson part that matches the search P551000 and 265 Applications that
include this part.

6. Product Detail Page
• Clicking on a part number search result will take you to the Product Detail Page.
• Product Detail Pages include a wide range of information related to the product selected.
o Product Images
o Hyperlinks to see related literature and/or videos.
o Tabs for part Details, Alternative Parts, and Part Applications. [These tabs are “clickable” and will
take you to that section. You can also scroll down to each section. ]

• Alternate Parts - These have the same Form, Fit and Function as the original part searched. Differences
are highlighted in the Notes. Parts within this section will link to individual Part Detail pages.
• Part Applications - Lists all the applications for which this part number is used. By clicking “View
Application Parts” you will see all the filters assigned to this application.

















• A Related Parts module may appear at the right-hand side of the page. Examples of Related Parts are
Primary to Safety Filters, Cartridges to Housings, Heads to Housings etc.

7. Narrow By Function
• You can narrow results by using the faceted search on the left side of the page.

• By selecting attributes on the Narrow By field, the system will automatically include only those parts
that match your refined selections.

8. Compare Function
• Select up to 3 products for a side-by-side comparison by checking the boxes next to the part images and
then the Compare button.

• Scroll within the Compare these products box to see attributes. Highlighted values show differences
between compared parts.

9. Attribute Search
• Click Attribute Dimension Search on the right side of the page or below the search bar.

• Select Product Line, Product Type, and then Attributes to search by:

• Access DYNAMIC Search from anywhere with a Wi-Fi or data

• Check Inventory :
o To check inventory on multiple parts, use the individual check boxes or the Select All check
box and then click the Check Inventory button.

 • Save to List:
o Click Save to Parts List and name the list for future reference. Maintain this list as a “Wish
List” for ordering.
o A Saved Parts List can be accessed by clicking “My Lists” at the Top right menu or the “My
Saved Lists (#)” on the right hand menu.
o Application Lists are ideal for Fleet Lists or repeat customers who have identified vehicles
that need servicing.

 o Enter up to 1,000 competitive or OE parts at a time.
o Copy and paste part numbers for long lists.
o Results can be exported in either a PDF or Excel File. [Note: Results are dependant on Region
selected and Parts status within that region. The searches must be exact matches with the
database to yield results.]

 • Order Line Report (if authorized):
o Search by Order Line Status, Purchase Order, Donaldson Order, Donaldson Item, Start Date, or
End Date.

 • Place orders (if authorized) in US/Canada and Latin America:
o Clicking the Add to Cart button or link on the Product Detail Page, Search Results page, or My
Saved Lists page will add your part(s) to the Active Cart in Classic DYNAMIC.

 o Classic DYNAMIC Active Cart – proceed to Checkout or return to DYNAMIC Search by clicking
your browser back arrow ( ), the Product Search link at the top of the page, “Find Your Filter”
on the left side, or the “Go to DYNAMIC Search” button at the bottom.

• Place orders (if authorized) for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA):
o Click the E-COMMERCE link at the top of the page and log-in to your account.
