    Close at Heart

    Our friendship is hard and unique to find.

    We always have each other in our minds.

    It’s you who always answer when I call.

    It is you who help me up when I fall.

    You know what are the funny things to say,

    To make me smile and wipe my tears away.

    Never have I ever felt so happy,

    So scared that I might get myself lonely.

    It’s our jokes which made us laugh that we’ve cried.

    Seldom that our pains have hurt us inside.

    With you not being here makes me feel sad.

    Back then, our memories make me feel glad.

    The miles between us can’t keep us apart,

    Because we’ll keep each other close at heart.
