Nerves:Leg:Lateral plantar
nerve

Division of the tibial nerve

- Crosses the sole obliquely along with the lateral

plantar artery

- analogous to ulnar nerve in the hand

- splits into superficial and deep branch

NERVE SUPPLY

main branch supplies flexor accesorius, abductor

digiti minimi, plantar aponeurosis

superficial branch supplies flexor digiti minimi brevis,

third plantar and fourth fourth dorsal interossei

deep branch supplies adductor hallucis, other

interossei, lateral three lumbricals.
