Adverse effect: Asthenia, confusion,

constipation, dry mouth, n/v, somnolence,
sweating, abdominal pain, anorexia, anxiety,
dizziness, fatigue, headache,

Diltiazem

Indication: used to treat HPN, angina, and

certain, heart arrhythmias

Classification: Calcium channel blocker

Adverse effect: dizziness, lightheadedness,

weakness, tired feeling, nausea, upset
stomach, flushing ( warm, redness or tingly
feeling), sore throat
