• 1 can (2 c) chick peas, drain all but 1 T liquid
• 1/4 c tahini • 1/4 cup lemon juice (1 good sized lemon) • 1 clove garlic • 1/2 tsp salt (use to mash garlic) • 1 tsp olive oil, more on top • Paprika for garnish ——— Mash garlic and salt with mortar and pestle. Put all ingredients in food processor or blender and blend for about 2 minutes to make it smooth. Serve in shallow dish, garnish with a few whole chick peas and paprika. Drizzle more olive oil over the top if desired. Best if prepared ahead of time.
