COMMON SAFETY INSTRUCTION

1. There must be at least two (2) people in the laboratory


while working on live circuit
2. Remove all loose conductive jewelry and trinkets,
including rings, which may come in contact with
exposed circuits.
3. Consider all circuits to be "hot" unless proven
otherwise.
4. Be as neat a possible. Keep the work area and
workbench clear of items not used in the experiment.
5. Always check to see that the power switch is OFF
before plugging into the outlet. Also, turn instrument
or equipment OFF before unplugging from the outlet.
6. Pull electrical cords from the socket by holding the
plug, not the wire.
7. When using machine tools and measuring devices, use
the predetermined tool.
8. Wear protective goggles and protective equipment in
the necessary locations.
9. Calibration of gas detectors must be done in gas
chamber.
10. Use proper fittings for pressure related jobs.
