LIGHTING SCHEME

3D VOLUME SAMPLE
V-RAY LIGHTS IN “PORTAL” MODE

Remember that V-Ray Lights in “portal” mode do not add light.

They are designed to convert ambiental light coming from windows and apertures, in direct light
producing “sharpen shadows”. Only adding “simple” option – as in this case – and putting the
light inside this can increase a little the brightness becasue “simple” do not consider objects
behind. This option also produce less noise and is really suitable to reduce render times.
