Dear Ms. A:

We write on behalf of our client, B, with regard to the properties and documents she left
in your house.

We were informed by our client that despite the conduct of repeated demands, you
refused and continue to refuse to withhold all her properties and documents despite not
having lawful demand on the same.

Such act and demand is completely illegal and constitutes the crime of Theft. Article
308 of the Revised Penal Code of the Philippines provides:

Art. 308. Who are liable for theft — Theft is committed by any person who,
with intent to gain but without violence against or intimidation of persons
nor force upon things, shall take personal property of another without the
latter’s consent.

Accordingly, FINAL DEMAND is hereby made upon you to return all the properties and
documents within FIVE (5) days from receipt of this letter. Otherwise, we will be
constrained to file the necessary legal action against you to protect our interest.

We trust that you will give this matter your prompt and preferential attention to avoid
expense and inconvenience of litigation.

Very truly yours,

ATTY. ABC
