The woman in the window

The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn revolves around the protagonist Dr Anna Fox, who is a
child psychologist by profession. But after a traumatic experience in her past, Anna has become
severely agoraphobic due to which she is terrified to step outdoors. She lives alone in New York
City and spends her days watching suspense movies, talking to people on an online help group for
people with the same disorder called Agora, self-medicating and drinking wine excessively, spying
on her neighbors through her camera and occasionally talking to her estranged husband and
daughter on the telephone.

Anna is quite intrigued by her neighbors, the Russell’s, the newest family in the neighborhood,
composed of Allistair Russell, Jane Russell and her only son Ethan, as usual Anna begins to stalk
them, and will soon be involved in a series of events that make her establish a friendship with Jane
Russell.
