Have you ever wondered how membrane transport processes happen?

How about being engaged on

the different experiments involving these processes

If not ,watch our video so you can obtain plentiful information on how it happen.

Before the experiment ,may we introduce first the different transport processes.

-DIFFUSION-OSMOSIS-DIALYSIS

Diffusion, diffusion is known to be the net movement of molecules or ions from region of higher solute
concentration to a region of lower solute concentration. The rate of diffusion depends on the 1
magnitude of concentration 2 particles size and shape and lastly 3 temperature.

Witness how it works on this experiment:

On this experiment, we’ll be needing 2 250ml beakers in order to compare the rate of diffusion at latter
of the experiment. In each beaker, place 100 ml distilled water measured using the graduated cylinder
(an eye level) and warm the content of one beaker (with the used of electric burner).

When warmth ,place the beaker s on a flat solid surface and observe what will happen when KMno4
(potasium permanganate) are poured at the same time in each beaker.

You can clearly noticed how the powder quickly spread on the warm water than the plain distilled
water.

That is how diffusion works.

The rate is higher when the temperature is also high.
