 The graph of Distance vs Pitot Tube Pressure for smooth surface and rough surface
were plotted. As well as the graph of Distance vs Velocity for both surfaces.
 Based on the distance vs pitot tube pressure graphs, the pressure continuously rises
until they reach the maximum pressure at 12.7 mBar.
 Both surfaces show a same pattern of it increasing until reach the maximum point of
pressure. But for the rough surfaces, the pressure increases slowly until it reaches
certain point which the pressure increases rapidly. The pattern on the smooth surface
shows otherwise, as the pressure rises up earlier.
 For the graph of Distance vs Velocity for 90mm, the value of velocity increases as the
distance increase until it reaches its 22.57m/s which the speed became constant.
 For the rough surface, the velocity obtained is 16.20m/s at 0mm distance. Meanwhile,
for the smooth surface, the velocity obtained is 17.13m/s at 0mm distance. Since the
rough surface has higher viscous forces, they Reynolds number increases, thus the
velocity also should be higher.
 It also appearing that the characteristics of laminar and turbulent flow can be observe
from this graph depending on which surfaces. If the surface is smooth, the transition
from laminar to turbulent is delayed, which on rough surface, the turbulent flow can
be seen achieved at earlier stages.
 The turbulent which occurred earlier was because of the disturbance in the velocity
profiles when passes through the rough surface.
 For the graph of Distance vs Velocity for 180mm, the value for both smooth surface
and rough surface increases as the distance increase until it reaches its maximum
velocity which is 23.91m/s.
 For this graph, the smooth surface shows it achieved turbulence at earlier stages. This
because of the height recorded is higher, at 180mm. The inconsistency also due to the
equipment error, we could feel the slot holding the flat plate is a bit loose.
 When taking data, the pressure readings were collected 3 times, and its average value
was recorded. This is because of the inconsistency when reading the pressure since
the value is inside the tube was unstable.
