I had this very cool dream.

I had an infatuation with the MacBook Air in the process of

purchasing my Pro. I still do. It began then. I had never before
really liked the Air. It’s thin. And when I first saw it for real, I
was more disturbed than found it attractive – how can a laptop
sustain being so ridiculously thin.
And in the process of possessing my Pro, I realized what is so
pretty and really awesome about the Aluminum casing they
kept on going on about, but that I never appreciated before
either. So, when I get satisfactorily really rich, I will own, at
least one 11’’ Air and a 15’’ Pro amongst other things. Now, I
want a tablet too. And the Air seems very probable to be one.
With a keyboard, it’s almost thinner than the Kindle, or other
stuff, I think. And I’d even read this slight speculation about
people imagining Apple to put their A4 processors in the Air.
And I found that brilliant.

Before my Pro, I was not a fanboy. I don’t like to think that

even now I am – I think I’m in a much better position of
knowledge nd experience as to how using Apple really feels,
especially after having used Windows for a long, long time, and
now having used Apple for adequately long to know how it
feels. Unlike fanboys (or anti-fanboys) who just take a side for
no particular reason, without really having used the stuff. I still
particularly feel sad about lots of Ux elements in the Mac OS,
which I will talk about later, hopefully by the time either
Apple, or I, have managed to find a fix for it.

So, I’ve been appreciating that Apple probably sells in the

weird way it does, probably because it deserve to. When I talk
about the selling of iPhones and iPads, I would again be
cautious because I haven’t actually used them. I have used the
iPod Touch, but not a sustainably long enough time. I can only
cursorily tell it’s a nice device – there’s not much else to
compare with either.
But the fact that the iPad sells, is very intriguing to me. Not
intriguing in how-mysterious-this-is-a-stupid-device way.
More of how-do-people-who-buy-this-actually-use it. It’s costly
to just read books.
